Has anyone here ever grown the Deep Congo from Richard Williams Seed Co. ? i highly recomend this strain it is amazing. the taste is very complex mixture of a sweet lavender petroleium hash.. during cure it loses the lavender aspect but gets more hashy and unique . i have grown the F1s one season and loved it emensly.it is a perfect combo hybrid with my personal fav type of gentics < african sativa (congolese mother) and a very DENSE and i mean Dense father of Deep Chunk> the second time i grew this . i made some selctive F2s got a lil more variation but these plants chunked out Gnarley . they had Flowering tops the size of 20 litter soda bottle.. when dried where the biggest and densiest floweers i have come accross.i had soda can sized dried flowers dense as concrete!!!! it has taken all the flowering traits of the indica dom father but the high is so heady and cerebrial .. it has been my choice for early morning smoke for 2 years straight now.. i love this combo and had to give credit where credit is due

I ran Deep Congo for quite awhile, and absolutely love it.

Myself, I freaking love Deep Congo. Been running F2's for a while and have taken it to F4 which I have yet to grow. I think I remember RW saying he doesn't have any Deep Chunk to remake the F1's with. If that's the case, I'd give him 100 Deep Chunk seeds just for the chance to buy more F1's.

Speaking of PTK, I just put some into flower. Also flowering a few Khmer Gold x PTK. The KG x PTK are BEAST! Very excited to see what they become!

as for me i think its some of my fav herbs .. deffinatley top 5.i also have like 6 beans of the original F1s stashed in my vault tons of the F2sand of course all the strains weve been working on with that as mother in in some crosses. i also ordered straight congolese packs to do some breeding with .. i LOVE those african sativa genes..
Luckily i havent ran out of the deep c for a couple years now and it is a stapple in my garden. a must have.

I have a real challenge doing outdoor breeding these days so am working on this indoors, have recently selected two bx1 mothers for further selections.
Lean, you are correct in that I don't have the ability to do more f1s having lost the dc father. Interestingly, even in the backcrosses you do not get more Sativa phenos, so the bx1s resemble the f1s in phenotypes.

Shit yeah!! RW that makes my day to hear the BX's are like the F1's. The most sativa like specimen I've found so far was in the F3. Nice stretch medium density buds that will keep you staring at the ceiling at night if you smoke to close to bed time. I think I missed the boat a bit by not pollinating the first Deep Congo I grew to make F2's. That plant had much more sativa in her than any of my other F1's and F2's.
Looking forward to trying this out when you finish. Better make a ton of them,I have a feeling they'll be wanted by many. Until then I'm gonna sit here and smoke my F2's F3's and keep inbreeding them. See where they can take me.

I'm on it, Lean... my dCon-B f1 girl is about to get down with my dCon-D f1 male, which has the thinnest leaves of any of my dCon phenos, male or female. The B girl is the most Sativa-leaning female of all the ones I found. Photos soon!

yah i have 6 seeds of the f1s left in the vault.. i made a tone of f2s that make these redicuolously huge awesome flowers.. i had 5 flowers make an oz. dense as it can be ... some of the best meds . in my opinion .. id love to maybe co lab a cross with yah or something.. i have been working on a cross with it as well its very delicious =)
