ok so the title basically says it all. i will be going to italy to visit my grandparents at the end of the summer, and im gonna stop at the dam to pick up some seeds. i wanted to start making seeds, and maybe try and start messing around with breeding. i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for good seed stock to start with if i want to come up with my own special flavor. luckily money wont be an issue for this run, so anything you think would be good, please let me know. im also going to be buying multiple packs of each because i really want to find keepers. anyways, thanks to anyone who contributes.

When I went to Vancouver, I asked locals which shop to go to and when I went in I asked the nice girl to give me her opinion on what 3 strains would best represent unique local genetics. After all, I can get Jack Herer anywhere. It proved to be the right plan and she hooked me up.

Just out of curiosity, what did she steer you towards?

She sold me 'Island Sweet Skunk', 'Godbud' and 'Burmese'. All serious connoisseur genetics. Not really 'strains' in the sense of something like my Cherry Bomb, but relatively stable for some traits, and certainly worth working with. I particularly love the ISS, it's a classic 'haze' type with an incense-ey smell that can be easily detected even on the vegging plant. Leaves a thick blue, tenacious cloud of sweetness on exhale, old timers love it.

Depends on the height and space you have to grow in. Find a strain whose max height fits between your container and the bottom of the light; also how much you need/want per grow and how long you are willing to wait to harvest.
