Leaving moms alone for 2 weeks.

I must take a business trip for 2 weeks soon and I need to figure out a way to keep 2 healthy mother plants alive.

This is really really , really, really, really stretching it. I can barely go a week now, how can I go 2 weeks?

I honestly don't know what to do. (I could possibly have somebody watch them but that is the absolute dead last resort, i dont want to lose these moms)

IDEAS?

GO.

One idea I had was to take clones and put them in the cloner, and just kill the moms..

Risky, but i've done it before.

2 weeks, if your lightning is too bad burning you can put them on the balcony or window sill into a natural light. just water and see that it wouldnt dry out too quick. put some 2l water bottle, vertical flip with tiny hole in cap dipper system, really no need to kill moms hahaha

not a problem in soil or coco, you know how you been told never let your plants sit in standing water?
it's all lies. people bottom feed plants all the time.
set your plants in a larger container and put two weeks worth of water in it. if you need to, put some weak (half strength) nutes in the water.
for just 2 weeks I would probably just put water, if you come back from your trip and they need food you can feed them.

Thought of that too stonedar, I may have to go that route.. I have a few weeks to test, maybe I should start now.

Prune the shit out of 'em...roots also...repot 'em with some good moist soil and put em in some low light. They should be lookin good to go when you get back. Weeds can be difficult to kill LOL!

I've gone a month with wicks.
Also have gone a month with water crystals.
And then there are Blumats. They will go indefinitely until your rez runs out.
And then there are Plantastics, probably your cheapest and easiest for only two weeks.

A tray of deep water does it for me when I travel. You can look into Smart Valves for Autopots. They can take it to the next level and will allow 1" of water into your tray and allow it to be taken in before adding another 1". This will repeat until the res is empty. They work by gravity and the res can be any water jug or cooler.

Are they in soil? If so you can upsize them into much bigger pots and give them a good watering before you go. Downsize your light(s) to something that doesn't put out too much light and heat.

Plant watering globes, do a google search
Probably cheaper than Plantastics...
However, if you could get a funnel to fit a 2 liter bottle and then just purchase the flo discs, the PTs could be cheaper.

Dont use blumat jr's. Go for the Troph-BLumat Desk and patio kit. Two weeks is a piece of cake if you use Blumats. Res Ph might start to be a concern though.
