Serenade Experiences

Hey dudes,

I've got 1-3 weeks before I start trimming down my ladies. My powdery mildew is just starting to rear it's ugly bitch ass face again and a buddy recommended Serenade. He says he's used all the way through flowering and didn't notice any ill effects on the dried product but then again, he's not a seasoned tokestar.

It's pretty crucial for me that the end result is crisp and correctly bodied. So I was hoping one of you cats out there might have some personal experiences with how Serenade affects the taste/aroma of the finished plant at consumption time.

ehhhh, i would not spray them that close to flower with that stuff, i would use water and milk... i forget the exact ratio but im sure its around here somwhere,

or dutchmaster zone and saturater with a foliar spray, do 30 ml saturater and 15 ml zone per gallon... that is safe that late into flower, good luck! and happy smoking

I've done the water/milk thing before and it doesn't seem to help the situation at all. Also did baking soda and a spray of ph9 water. None of them really seemed to help.

I'm skeptical of Serenade as well.

ive had todo that befor. and although it was A BITCH ,"because i dunked all my plants!"
it def worked, and i did it up until the last week. where i switched to water/milk...

Never tried the DM, Zone or Penetrator (I presume that's what you mean by saturater) as a foilar technique for combating PM.

This dip that you pulled off in the last week, was it the milk concoction or something else? I've never done the dip before.

i only dipped them in the zone/saturater, penatrator is the old name , thats why im calling it saturater. sorry


with the millk i just foliar sprayed THE SHIT out of the fan leaves as i wasnt having pm on my buds yet, just fan leaves... nbut i was spraying often, and plucking leaves ALOT! real hell hole.... best thing todo is just use eagle20e on your vegging plants next round. theres a huge thread here if you search it.. good luck

Not sure Eagle20 is available in my area. Got any other suggestions?

I would use DM products if I could afford them. But on a small personal production I just can't justify it. Thanks for your suggestions man.

I used serenade outdoors last yr for pm it didnt help much at all, neem oil worked pretty good at suppressing pm but def didnt cure it. Personally I wouldnt recommend either late in flower, neem definetely effects the taste of buds when used in flower and serenade smell like shit to me... ymmv

serenade didnt work for me at all, serenade is crap...and it stinks like a whorehouse at low tide

when i had PM i tried everything short of a sulpher burner>> milk foliar sprays , SM90, high PH water, baking soda, serenade etc etc (i didnt try the DM zone/penetrator combo)

try some greencure ...it worked great for me when nothing else did and it's cheap

now to be honest i have heard of some mixed results using the greencure but it worked great for me and i've never seen PM since, been a couple years
