Hi!! Some of my leaves are curled like this one! Dunno what it is but new growth are in really good health and the overall plant health too.

I use GH nutes at about 675ppm. Micro and bloom only with 6/9 formula.

thank you!!

pH doesn't auto-adjust in soil, where did you hear that?

Depending on the pH of your nutrient solution, you can sway the pH levels within the soil.

Check your run-off for an idea of what your plants environment is like.

I think I found the problem. I feed them 6/9 with GH nutrients.

6/9 give more N to the plants. I think 6/9 is not good for mothers plants.

I'm french and I go on a french cannabis forum and someone on this forum is biologist. He made a lot of good sticky post. One of them explain how the soil have buffer to regularize pH in soil.

Even with pH 9 water the buffer would do his job. But remeber that more the pH is off faster the buffer will fade away. For 3 months grow the buffer is just fine not to mention that we transplant at least 3 times during this 3 months.

I just think that you guys that messing with pH destroy the buffer in the soil by using pH down and pH up and its why its a must to always adjust pH. At the moment that you mess ONE time with pH you HAVE to do it during the whole grow.

Believe me, adjust pH should be the last thing to do in soil!!

if these are moms then u must give more N, what u are seeing is how a plant reacts to alot of P...

I would submit that soils and soiless mixes do indeed vary in pH and they do not automatically buffer themselves. Perhaps you misunderstood the complete context of your sources information?
I think it is a pretty well known fact that soil in nature tends to go acidic with time.

What growers seem to have problems with is how they check the pH. Many will check the run off, which makes sense..but is not going to give a proper reading. The only way to check the pH of your medium is to make a slurry of the medium with the feed water and check that.

Im definitely inclined to go with pH. I grow in soil AND hydro and MUST adjust pH in both. The buffers in the soil just make the actual exchange of nutrients easier thereby allowing the plant to uptake nutes that would normally be slightly outside of its range. The ONLY thing in soil that auto adjust pH (sort of) is dolomite lime and that must be added. And as you add nutrients to the soil you are effectively lowering the pH over and over. It would be extremely naive to think that you could add and add and add nutes and that the acids and salts in them just "go away". The leaves curl in a radial manner down the leaf at the onset of a pH problem. Followed by splotching if it gets worse. Here are a few pics of the early stages of pH issues followed by pics of full blown nute lockout. You may find its something else, but pH absolutely must be monitored in ANY medium. I question the wisdom of someone who tells you not to do so as that is almost the golden rule in Cannabis horticulture. I hope you get this problem resolved as it sucks to watch your kids not live healthy happy lives.
These are in descending order from initial onset of low pH to nute lockout...

Wow you adjust pH and have leaves like these? Glad I don't adjust it!!

Look my non adjusted Female Seeds Cinnamon!!

Tell me this 25 days flowering Cinnamon look like I need to adjust pH!!!!!

If you need to adjust pH because you mes with it too much and you probably have to much nutrients in your water which leads to accumulation and acidic soil.

I must be the luckiest guys in the world to grow without adjusting pH have have awesome result!

Hahahaha! What I bad men I am!!!

During the time I DON'T adjust pH I take care of other thing in my life...my wife and REAL kids!

Show us your feeding schedule please.

You probably think this hashberry was grown with pH adjusted? Absolutly NOT!! Up to you to mess and loose your time!!

Thats fine man, I was just offering input. And FYI my tap water ppm's are less than 100. Starting pH is roughly 7.0 so yea my water must really "Suck". Look man, not saying you have to adjust it, but closing off to the possibility because someone on a forum claimed to be a biologist-which has nothing to do with growing anything-is just stupid. And leaves like this are caused by NOT doing anything with pH. I didnt check it for a while and this is the result. You obviously are not the luckiest guy in the world because your manners and social skills leave much to be desired. How your attitude flies with your family, i dont know, but what you said i would classify as a bitch move. I dont even need to justify my family life, as you so obviously felt compelled to do. I do not envy you in the least. You are closed minded and arrogant. Maybe your plants will get "lucky" and wont have to suffer at your hands. I, like BlueGrassToker, am now unsubbed. Dueces.

After I watered them with water and cannazym.

CANNAzym is really a good product! I can really see the difference. Don't know if they yeild more because of cannazym but they look so much healthier.

IT works!

Rezdog said we can with pro-mix.

Anyway, 6/9 and 8/16, FOR ME, are just base. Depending on plants, sometime 6/9 turn out to be 5.5/9 or 5.5/9.5 ... twik it!!

I didn't think it was going to ever happen, but you inspired me to leave my first neg rep.

Not cool to criticize people trying help you. Also that criticism is false (like ph not mattering in soil). I highly suggest brushing up on the fundamentals before being such a critic.
