Hey all,
I germinated 7 seeds in the hopes of AT LEAST 2 females, preferably more Well sucks cause I'm seeing alot of males. My hope is that at least the ones I have not been able to positively identify as being male will turn out to be females.
Here are pictures of the ONE plant I thought I had positively IDed as a female:
Now a week later I'm seeing this (on the same plant):
I realize the 'male' pic isnt very sharp but they certainly look like 'balls.' They even seem to be held upright on a little stem. Very unfeminine
I'm just gonna go ahead an put this plant in the 'male' group. Whats up with that though? In any case I trust indications of sex towards the top of a plant as being more reliable as those further down. The curious thing is that those pistils formed at the bifurcation where I topped the plant. Could this topping be enough of a stressor to cause a male plant to just shoot out a female preflower at the spot where it got 'damaged'?
