exactly.

yup. it's extremely popular, it's run commercially by everybody, i'm serious, but for good reasons though, makes me sort of hate to admit i grow her. she's just a great mersh strain, that also holds some kind characteristics. gc run organically with love is kind bud, excellent lime green bag appeal, excellent sour apple skunk aroma, and a potent up skunk high, a little too much on the anxious side for me personally.

yeah, my friend from mendo never had smoked or grown gc until he moved to butte, haha. most of mendo/humboldt is on that elite, fersure. mendo has it's own mersh strains, and i'm sure they're is some people growing gc(a lot of purps ime), but they seem to have slightly different priorities as far as strain selection ime. ime many butte guys i personally know or know of are strictly salt based commercial and don't care much for quality when quantity can be ridiculous. i really dislike that commercial ideal, for a few reasons.

I did quite a bit of growing in Butte. I was born there and all my family is in the feather river canyon. I think the reason why Green Crack and Blue Dragon is so common up there is because it just grows perfectly in that climate. The best outdoor green crack I have consistently seen is grown around 2800-3200' in full sun. It just comes out super lime green, chunky, and has a good resin content. Definitely Butte Counties premier commercial strain. I know a dude on my old hill that was growing his own Granddaddy X Sweet Tooth awhile ago and that was the best outdoor strain imo. So easy to grow, hardy, and had picture perfect buds.

I wish I could still grow up there as it is a highly underrated cultivation area in California, but the only place I have is my families 40 acres, but it requires a 4 miles hike to get to and you would have to grow like the mexicans on that property.

hahah ^

bong- yes, the green crack turns out excellent around here, lime green funk with a lot of grease. people hate on her, but people need to care less about other peoples business. i'd grab a gdp x swt in a second, the aroma i imagine would be stellar, and nice frost.

zen-on the gc, i fully agree.

nope, clone only. i think people are just getting tired of her flooding the market every year, understandable.
