I don't think they are useless, just full of shit. & need to correct their thinking. As I recall I said "If she was unlawfully giving out pain med's. Then I say go ahead & throw the book at her". I also think however, if the DEA screws up and is wrong they should suffer as much financial loss as the one who was harassed. To me, This also violates many Doctor Patient confidentiality rights. As they now have all those patients private files.

The patients lying to get a rec are just as guilty... ESPECIALLY that DEA agent posing as a patient.

I was worried that MMJ abuse would make us look like a lying bunch of cowards hiding behind truly sick people to the rest of society.

Now I'm worried that we view ourselves this way.

I choose to blame greedy corporations and shabby lobbyists.

Blame doctors all you want. I see a doctor that is probably sick of handing out pain pill scripts.... maybe you see a legal drug dealer.

is having 420 as a birthday reason enough to qualify for a card? how about being stoned and thinking M.I. for middle initial stood for michigan so you put MI for your middle name? is that enough to qualify because those were good enough for a doctor I know of. I have chron's and have to worry about the law being revoked because people don't even have to lie to get a card for no reason. WHEN THAT HAPPENS IT WILL BE THE DOCTORS FAULT

I'm not a DEA fanboy its just like you said everything needs to be on the up and up and while the DEA views us as a enemy they still do somethings right and if a doctor is acting shady i'd rather have her go down than "take down" good people in the process. By that I mean that people can use cases like this to promote a "repel medical marihuana" agenda.

The DEA was the one who was interested in patients lists.

Doctors have confidentiality.

DEA would love for you to view doctors and patients as enemies.

the dea has done what they wanted under every single president. it is politics and the game does not change no matter who is in office. there has never been and never will be a flawless president. it is not the man in the oval office who is fucking every single thing up.
i would argue that the president is at best a "regional manager" and that what we are bitching about came from the "boardroom". we can only be pissed at the guy we see and the boys who really make the decisions are cool with that.
