Help Needed

Guys i am revamping my growroom with a few new gadgets and shit, and need some advice on my new 800 x 300 MountainAir carbon filter. The filter has a 250mm Vortex type fan on her and after researching all the shit on this site in regards to the filter and how to set it up proper, i lost intrest so i thought i would ask my fellow Aussie growers on here.

NOW after reading debates and pages of worthless shit on either pushing air, pulling air blah blah, when the lights are on/off, i will be pulling the air threw the filter. What i need to know is:

1. How can i do 2 rooms with this 1 filter. 2 x 2.4 x 1.5 x 2.1.
2. Is it safe to exhuast the air straight out of the room.
3. My intake to the room is 300mm Inline fan.
4. Do i run it 24/7 or when the lights are ON or when the lights are OFF ? (sooo many opinions on that one)

Any opinions on this will be appreciated, the rooms are in the same area but nut next to each other. I was thinking of making a airtight box for the can and running ducting to each room then exhausting straight out side. Tell me what you think, i want to get this right this time around thats all. Thanks guys in advance, any questions or pics needed let me know.

amount of watts running in the rooms?? was just going say u could go with blowing throught the filter and run a duct y reducer 2x150 to 200 or 2x200 to 250 so that way u just run the ducting from each tent [200mm or 150mm] to the duct y reducer and then the 250mm to the fan/filter etc ... but two rooms that size i just dont think it will have the power captian....but i could be wrong :p:tiphat:

Hey there mate im no expert but if i was u id probably just run the filter on the biggest room. im buying a 250x800 Mountain Air in 2 weeks for my new room, its 1.7x1.5x1.9. thats with a 410L/sec fan. Also wats the CFM or Litres/sec ratings for both the 250 Vortex n the 300mm inline fan coz u want it exhaustin bout four times more for negative pressure. i just worked this out from the Mountain air site n from hours of surfing the net. u can filter straight out of the room after its filtered, I lived in an apartment with no probs of odour by doin that. No idea bout havin it on 24/7 i just run it while lights r on n for a half hour every couple of hours lights off for sum fresh air. LIke I said no expert just my 2c.
Good Luck :gday:

Thanks mate, in room 1 i will be running 500 watts, its just a room for clones and left over mums. The bloom room i run 2 x 600 watts, the air is pumped threw 2 150mm cooltubes, i have air going into both room via 6 inch inlines, but the main air going in is threw 300mm inline. Some people say to blow the air threw the filter, some say to suck the air threw it. Now some people just recirculate the air from the filter back into the growspace? Is this right or do you discard the air straight out of the gromroom all together? Thanks for your input.

Thanks Ben, your saying the air, once its filtered can exit the room? So filter the air, recirculate it back in the room, then remove it ?
Or can i duct from the filter threw the roof so it filters threw the can and exits the room?

sorry just read my post was a bit unclear so yeah the best thing to do is Carbon Filter- Exhaust Fan- Ducting - Roof Sapce. U shouldnt put the filtered air back in the room coz of high temps from hot exhausted air n it will b depleted of CO2. wat i meant was as long as the growroom is fairly airtight u shouldnt have problem with smell, therefore its not necessary to run it 24/7.

Sold, that will do me mate, makes sense to me. Thanks for clearing that up mate, and i think i will run it while the lights are on then 15 mins every hour should do my space while the lights are off.
