How did you invent your ICMag name?

How did you invent your ICMag name?

I see all kinds of good aliases on here and was just thinkin'....
How did you invent your icmag name?

Some of the names here are amazingly great, and some seem just kinda so-so.. but that's just my opinion since I don't know the story behind it...

Me? Bud Green Sr.?
Well, more than 30 years ago, a lifelong buddy called me from out of state.. He was in a real BIG city, but he told me the WHOLE city was DRY that summer...It was the first time I ever heard that from him, as he usta send ME oz's in the mail when I cried to him on the phone...
Two days later I copped 12 lb's and bought a brand new, hard-sided suitcase for the trip..I had all my clothes in a little carry-on bag..

Ya gotta remember, this was in the old days when flying was not only easy, but fun too...I drove to the airport and walked up to the ticket counter..I pulled out a couple hundred dollar bills and told the agent I wanted a one way ticket to "_____"...
I handed him the suitcase with the weed, which he checked in and put on the conveyor belt, and he asked my name for the ticket.. I said, "uh, Bud Green".. He typed it in, checked my suitcase, handed me my one way ticket and said, "Have a nice flight, Mr. Green...
I said "thank you" and headed for my gate for the flight 20 minutes later...

I used the name again a few years later, and I guess the rest is history...

I've spent some time on the
islands, Kauai HA tho Vieques
off the east coast of Puerto
Rico mainly; and choom means
bud smoke, and also 'to toke'.
Bongs be choomsticks brudah..
smoke and or bong. It's simple,
as much as I don't post as my
mainly intended handle due to
cohorts of mine not pertaining
to anything related to cannabis
interfering with my endeavors,
I've grown to dislike my handle
as a placeholder & also enjoy it's
simplicity and meaning. Makes me
homesick though, people need
to learn about island time on mainland.

When I joined up, my name was 1st timer UK, which had been my name on OG. By the time I joined I was already on my second grow. There was a thread about if Gypsy had a religion, what would it be called, and one of my suggestions was "Hare Gypsna".
I PMd Gypsy to ask if my name could be changed, thinking I'd get a reply telling me yay or nay and if yay I'd choose something.
The next day I logged in and I was Harry Gypsna.
I had only made a couple of posts. Don't be PMing admin asking for name changes!

It's Freedom, in Vietnamese

I lived full time in Vietnam for a couple of years in the late 1990's ( was supposed to go there in the early early 70's and decided not to ) I believe I'm the very first American individual to sign an official free trade agreement with a communist government entity there and yes it's online. That's really something considering I'm a total off the chart Libertarian. I've been told that if I decide to retire there as I own a business there all these years, I could get in writing the type of legality with regards to weed that that fellow in Ft Lauderdale has.

If my health wasn't as bad as it is I would be gone like a cool breeze https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcblXxc4oqo
