What's new

The Cube. A vscrog.

Stoichio, hope you come back...........gonna convery my EZ Clone 120 to HP aero and had some questions about yours.........I assume you're using a demand pump, or did you go the accumulator/solenoid route for it?

Also setting up a vertical HP aero SOG as we speak so would love to bounce some ideas off ya......

Well i totally forgot about this journal:laughing::bump::moon:

I've got a few more pics I'm way too lazy to upload. But looks like you guys got the good, pretty set anyways.

You guys should know I yielded 30oz from that run. I surprised myself actually. Got another run with another strain coming up this week.

VSCROG is the shit. That about sums up my feelings lol. And defoliating seems okay if you dont mind trimmiing all the popcorn. But I do. So fuck it to hell!

:thank you:Come again.

Ravi evne though you're banned here and now active on my home site. I'll answer ya for the sake of the other readers, lol. I did not use an accumulator because the flow rate of my pump @ 80PSI was greater than the flow of my nozzles (total) @80PSI. I used standard drip tubing & fittings and I would strongly recommend John Guest fittings, for ANY size HP aero project. My cloner is currently decommissioned while I use jiffy pellets until I have some cash for rebuilding it. Much. Much. Bigger.:D

Are you still using this room? I like it. One thing that keeps nagging at me is those buckets suspended from the wire. I know its working for you, I see that, but I just keep thinking those buckets are going to be heavy. Does it put a strain on the fence wire you are using? Is that horsewire?

Thats just standard 14gauge wire fencing available at lowes. No it doesnt put much strain on the wire. And zip ties are much stronger than you'd imagine. I'm still using this tent. But I'm currently building a 4kw version (well 3 for now, gotta order another light) of this tent with 2 rows of plants suspended from the fencing in the same way. I'm journaling it on gardenscure and I'm not gonna bother trying to start multiple journals again lol.

Harvest, I'd like to make note that bud is level with the bulb there, it's a biggun. You might notice that pic isn't in my tent.... I'm upgrading:D again:yay:, new room is 4kw, still running the cube next to it.

Also some dense shiz, that's 29.5oz there, also had another plant in there. Also had a single plant of Casey Jones I didn't weigh, maybe a half oz on her. Lost alot to mold or I woulda hit 2lbs, damn.

 *crickets* lol

Progress of my new room, built for only $2500:

Of course that price doesn't include the PLC I'll be using to control the environment, hopefully by this summer.

Nice work, the yield is very encouraging in such a small space with 1k..

New room looks excellent, going to be a jungle...

Very nice lab clean setup you got going on here. Might you tell us all where to get the screen you used?

Both rooms use 3' garden fencing, available at lowes or HD. In the big room it's hung from the ceiling with hooks and tied down with cinder blocks to keep it straight. I would have built shelves to attach it to, but being in an apartment I wanted to minimize lumber.

I would have liked to use concrete remesh. It's 10ga instead of 14, and comes in flat sheets already.

Ok well a summer run didn't happen due to temps and some security BS. So no PLC, not at this grow. But here's the new room vegging. Gonna wire up the 4th light before flip, still have the cube running in the background. Pretty happy with 5 lights in a 10x10

Also rebuilt the cloner. It now has a remote res which makes cleaning a breeze.

Love the set up bro, really inventive :)

Looking forward to seeing how you do with the 5 lights, how are your temps in there?

what kind of numbers are you pulling out of that room with 5 lights? just curious. I've been watching... and I'm kinda sketched out by the hanging buckets... but w/e, I like your grow. Keep the updates coming.
