Instead of covering our packets with various happy snaps of fucked up anatomy, they should just put a pic of Nicola Roxon on the pack for an instant national outbreak of cold turkey.
WTF is next for these imbeciles?
Theyve already fucked the taste and method of smoking with their fucked up brainiac idea that adding even more chemicals to our smokes, that less bushfires will happen. Ok, so 10,000 extra smokers can die a year from inhaling extra chemicals, just as long as no-one is killed by fires started by smokers. What a fucking joke!
More people die on the roads in one state alone every year compared to national bushfire victims, but lets fuck the smokers over some more.

And when smoking has been stamped out in the name of good health, alcohol will be next, theyve already outlawed our beloved weed.. fuckers!

Im happy for you that you wanted to stop smoking cigs and were able enact your will, but spare a thought for those of us who enjoy smoking and have no intention of quitting or having our desired product tampered with.
Imagine one day you went to your bottlo and paid for a bottle of jack, when you get home you find the gov has had their think tank and decided if it tasted like shit, everyone would give up. Upon opening your jack you find indeed it tastes like shit, knowing that through policy your freedom of choice has been irrevocably fucked. Now apply the shit theory to all alcohol and see how many people accept these kneejerk policy decisions. Thats what theyve done to us smokers in my view.

CLOWD11, the essence of the government game is to make it so prohibitively expensive for you to smoke, that you quit. The government can and will tax and regulate the industry to its bare bones to meet their goals. Its absolutely disgusting how much red-tape those ultra-Christian, doo-Gooding, butt hurt, fat, balding, family first, boy who cried wolf bastards will put up in the name of "good". The reality of it, the government doesn't care about your health, it’s cheaper to not have you burden the ailing government health system, so pollies can put another dent in fiscal debt and claim a successful term.

Mate, it's a shitter what the govt. do to smokers here in Aust. Basically you poor buggers are cashcows for the government. Over $12 per pack is TAXES!!! To appease the do-gooders they put pictures of cancerous growths or now make all the packs a shitty shade of spew green but, at the end of the day, they're hooked on the revenue. Sadly there's fuck all to do about it but save an empty pack of winnie blues & keep filling it up with smokes.

Hi CLOWD , same government tampering here in the UK , continual duty increases at every budget above inflation have created a massive industry in illegally imported and counterfeit ciggies.

Point of sale displays are about to be banned and branding removed , all packs will soon look identical , plain white with health warnings , vending machine sales also banned.

Switched to hand rolled decades ago for the higher quality of tobacco and fewer chemicals added , burns cooler and quickly goes out undrawn.

Packet cigs are disgusting to me now , get through 50 g of baccy and a couple of ounces of bud a week but a single Benson makes my head spin and feel really sick.

Rolling baccy costs me more per gram than the bud i smoke it with , will be trying again this year but not a good climate for home grown baccy , makes decent blunt wraps and at least it is legal.

Fuck yeah, nice rant my friend. I smoke and absolutely love it. I will pay $30 a pack because i fuckin want to. I am on rollies now at home but smoke taylor mades at work. I aint as full on now as i use to be but i have 12 smokes a day which is fuckall compared to some people who swallow them like TicTacs. I still enjoy my $18 Rum Cigar from Dan Murphy's every saturday while having a nice glass of rum and coke because, HEY i can.

NOW the rip off bitch down the road charges $20.50 for a pack of PJ's 30's and Unleaded Fuel there also is going for $1.59.9 a litre, my mower can cost $8 this morn.

I sort of agree with it in a way, if you think that smokers have had their way for 250+yrs here in Australia......I kinda like the idea of non smokers getting there way for a change

i have 2 tobacco plants growing at the moment, fairly easy to grow them and the curing process is just time.

the tobacco is stronger too, some a lot more. kinda gives you a buzz if you smoke it in a gravity bong.

the less you have to do with government or big business the better off you are.

i like the idea of choice, not supernanny. (and a great vicious cunning yet megastupid hypocrite to boot)=)

Hey CLOWD11 a M8 of mine use to grow his own tobacco ...it like growing dope in a way in that the outcome is governed by how well you grow it and especially how well you cure it' quite legal if you don't intend to sell it and it put you in control of what exactly you are smoking...I use to think old M8's tocaccy smell quite nice not at all like the stuff over the counter..rich and smooth smelling quit nice I though seems I myself don't smoke the stuff . google will help you find seed and the whys and hows of it all....

I did some google jumping yesty to find a US seed seller. $6.95 for 200(take note SB) ;-) seeds with heaps of varieties avail, just waiting for return email. Some of the plants reach 20 feet high lol, so looks like the tent is out of the equation.

Grow your own is the cheap way to go and you also get plenty blunt wraps outta it too, can still get done for tax evasion o be careful, lucky not too many people know what look like. After your first grow will have seed till you eva decide to ditch em.

Really do your research and find other discussions about growing your own tobacco, just picking some random variety and growing it out could be a real big waste of your time and effort, just think I have read many varieties just produce a poor product. The curing and preparation is very important as well I think, has to be done very specifically.
