Need some love for my mom. Her plants just got ripped last night.

9 big mother plants (4 feet tall by 4 feet wide bushy) that were in a secured garage. Several seedlings, all her grow gear... She came home after a 3 hour dinner party with her family, and found her garage broken into with all plants and lights missing. Brute force to open doors.

She had some awesome mother plants from the as early as 1992. Some awesome modern REZDOG strains like SD IBL and some BOG genetics as well. NOT EVER replaceable, unless she magically gets some beans again (which she can't afford.)

The house was turned over for valuables as well. They even took a chest with family memorials in it. What value is in that? Television, family jewelry, I understand.

To take vegging mother plants and family pictures seems harsh and unreal to me.

Kind thoughts and energy would be appreciated, thank you.

I'm sorry to hear this kurly,those people must be some of the lowest of the low.Plants are one thing,but losing family mementos can really hit home.My family lost most of ours when we went through a house fire when I was a teen.And as you know,that can sting more than most things.Sending only the best of vibes to you and yours during these difficult times.

Wow that's really being violated !!! I have had that happen and it's like getting kicked in the guts just makes you sick all over. Then you start to wonder will all of the info that they stole from you just what else could or can they get from me like bank accounts and so on. Family photos and memorabilia were in a ceder chest that I guess could seem valuable, but it was very, VERY heavy and takes 2 strong people to move...

@Alien - I will contact you right now. She is freaking out about what to do for medication in he next few months. Medical user since '98 for a list of reasons. She has been an outdoor grower for years before I was ever born, and has been lucky/good enough to have never been ripped until now. I have no idea what to do for her now, aside form a giant hug. I am spinning in my chair. She is the last person on this planet to deserve anything like this.

You can never be too safe. Get a dog, get a few BIG dogs....

We had family photos / letters for 6 generations in this state (CA) in that chest.

I hope they understand the historical value of the photos and donate them to a museum anonymously. Original letters from the settling of California.

They won't... who am I kidding. Photos / letters from the 1800's will end up in the trash somewhere.

I am going to her house in the morning to giver her what little dried flowers that I have to ease her chronic pains, but that won't last her more than a week or two. Gonna be 3+ months till she can have her own harvest again.... at least...

Fixed income is a bitch in this case. I wish I was a millionaire so I could help my mom more.

I will be looking into new places for her to live tomorrow as well.

How totally awful. Makes me sick to my stomach. I am totally gutted for your mom, she sounds like one of the coolest moms ever. Glad she was not hurt. But I'm thankful that she has you, kurly.
