dude, say what ya want, but this is clearly your first run with bricked-up cali beasters, so I'll let ya enjoy it...

Dude, its just outdoor. I have smoked quite a bit of outdoor that didnt look like anything special, but tasted great and did the job more than some of the greatest looking indoor. Granted they get it vacuumed sealed and shipped and here in Cali we just have to grabe a jar, but I am sure the bud smokes good and gets you plenty high. Given the grower was competent and didnt use mineral fertilizers on his crop.

And beasters is weed that looks good, but doesn't get you high.

tried to give you positive rep but have to spread some rep first.

exactly. that is common outdoor looking herb, not bad, not great. probably has a great aroma and taste, and a high equal to indoor, usually ime outdoor actually has a more complex high. people look at outdoor and say beaster cause of looks alone. welcome to the outdoor scene. that said, my outdoor looks better muahah, and my OD blue dream and green crack gets confused as indoor at a dispensary.

If potency is that high on it I would say it's God's Gift I have some buds that look just like your first pics. It's extremely potent and supposed to be a GDP hybrid with OG Kush. :tiphat:

I luckily got some S1's of the GG's recently and pollinated it fully with an amazing Swt #4 male :good:

I am willing to put money on the fact that it is some outdoor Granddaddy Purple. Probably grown in a more open area with lots of sun.

thats where my money is....thats some outdoor/greenhouse Grandaddy purple.....alot of times it doesnt come out full purple but light green with lavender purple undertones

A lot of the same stuff filters around Cali. It is most likely a version of GDP or Da Purps, which is Mendocino Purple.
Very popular strain here, and people request it exclusively by name, so yeah, lots and lots of it here, so its a pretty safe bet.

pretty much nailed it on the head.....when GDP is grown up north in the mountains its usually sold by mendo purps, because it looks different than the indoor GDPs that come out of the cities.

i like outdoor purple if its cured right, got a nice taste and a good clear high, and its always pretty sellable. it comes out dense and nuggy whereas the outdoor sours usually come out scraggly and leafy so some people like its bag appeal better....

far from beasters...if you wanna see cali beasters i can dig through a ton of pics. out beasters are nicknamed "scrap sativa" because its usualy grown by the mexicans. indoor beasters are the asian grown purples that are no wear near as triched up as the outdoor GD he posted. its usually indoor grown, stolen power, chopped early, and most of it is sent to other states because it wont fetch shit locally. smells like crap, smokes harsh, etc....

the nugs lone wolf posted is a pretty solid outdoor pack that would fetch around 2k in the cities...maybe 17 or 18 on the mountain right now even though ive been hearing alot of people drop the dreaded "D" word here....most of the guys still sitting on their 2010 harvests are smart and got them stored away for summer, anyone dumping 10 packs for 15 right now is a desperate idiot and its probably schwag..

how much does that stuff sell for an OZ out your ways....out here thats probably a 180 oz, as high as 220 to college kids and the unconnected..i see stuff like that everyday sell for 600 a QP in san francisco to the local kids..

JD- this cali beasters....leafy, low trich count, unappealing smell...unappealing taste when smoked....

compared to an LB of some outdoor granddaddy similar to what LW posted...denser and less leafy, frostier, and a nice candy smell....has a nice musky grape taste when smoked..

heres another good example of "cali beasters"...anything thats too dense and doesnt have enough frost = beasters to me. you cant tell from the pics but some of them are also "crunchy" and speed dried, another beaster trait. and most importantly, the smell........all of this stuff would be worth more if it had a nice fruity berry smell, but instead they smell like tea or grass....

thanks for joining us Y4P215....

i believe your words.... ive read a lot of the things you post on this site and you seem to be the king of knowing different strains... especially cali strains...

it also kind of looks like the image of the green crack you posted also, but i think many have confirmed that it is NOT green crack...

and 2 the wise guys posting here, chuckling to themselves like know-it-all, big shots.... you know, the guys who think it is funny to make posts where they make a point to " :pointlaug " at someone else's post when really, they dont know their own ass from a hole in the ground...

until you chumps realize that weed IS documented via the internet (thru pictures and descriptions) heavily these days, then keep your lame ass comments to yourselves... "Wise men store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin"....

i appreciate everyone elses comments...

and for the record, this stuff can fetch a minimum of 280zip around yonder... i would prefer it stayed in cali because it is fucking up the game over here, but if it were shipped to ME, i'd probably have a different stance...

haha not a king by any means...i just know a bunch of guys doing outdoors up north, its pretty interesting because you can see a difference in the bud quality from mendo to humbolt to across the valley in the foothills of the sierras and butte county...just like wine grapes county to county are a little different so are the buds. if i had to take a wild guess, i would think that bud you posted is from the north eastern mountain part of california, instead of north west like mendo/humbolt....

and yeah thats not green crack.....i saw a bunch of GC this year i could post up a pic a little later..its usually darker orange colored skunky buds instead of the light green purples..

yes4prop215- need to spread rep around before giving you rep again. good info.

only thing i disagree with, my outdoor green crack is almost lime green. that's what its usually known for, as well as those thick orange "cheeto" pistils. i've noticed the salt based growers OD gc is usually far less lime green than my fully organic OD, that could have something to do with it as well. or the fact that most of the growmore guys are mersh' and the processing is rough. sometimes when its dark green its sat in a turkey bag for a long time, or wasn't dried out enough before being stored. although those nugs posted are definitely not gc. OD gdp ftw !

^yea good green crack kinda looks like super skunk and is definately not that dark, and yea those orange pistols cheetos is a good way to describe em!

you out in Butte county? thats where i get most of my green crack i guess that clones pretty popular on that side of the valley.....when you get over to mendo/humbolt shes nowhere to be found its all sour chem kush purple crosses...

exactly.

yup. it's extremely popular, it's run commercially by everybody, i'm serious, but for good reasons though, makes me sort of hate to admit i grow her. she's just a great mersh strain, that also holds some kind characteristics. gc run organically with love is kind bud, excellent lime green bag appeal, excellent sour apple skunk aroma, and a potent up skunk high, a little too much on the anxious side for me personally.

yeah, my friend from mendo never had smoked or grown gc until he moved to butte, haha. most of mendo/humboldt is on that elite, fersure. mendo has it's own mersh strains, and i'm sure they're is some people growing gc(a lot of purps ime), but they seem to have slightly different priorities as far as strain selection ime. ime many butte guys i personally know or know of are strictly salt based commercial and don't care much for quality when quantity can be ridiculous. i really dislike that commercial ideal, for a few reasons.

Green Crack isn't absolute crazy A+++ topshelf, but it ain't bad at all. I really like the uppity high of GC with that skunky lime green with bright orange hair bag appeal. Awesome for playing soccer on the beach or hiking. Plus its got a great finished product for how quick it is.

I've got some "green crack extreme" that vegges and smells kinda like GC but with some romulan mixed in, TBH I have absolutely no idea what the genetics are because it was acquired as "tahoe" from a dispensary however I've got real deal tahoe right next to it and its absolutely a very different strain.

I've never had GC purple up on me like in the OP, and I've ran it outdoors with cooler temps even. Ironically the GCE I was just mentioning purples up.
