Getting ready to start my ssak's soon.. Dont know if this is pertinent or not but have been growing ss bubblegum for quite a while and it does the same thing. I clone at 2 weeks of veg just before flower and clones dont seem to out grow the auto stage until 4-6 weeks in cups/txplant to pots under 24 hour flos. Like i said dont know if it is pertinent to the ak or not but I am more then happy to deal with this anomaly for my wonderfull BBG girls
My AK moms have been subjected to some pretty horrendous stresses over the course of the last two years and none of the clones (nor the moms) have ever autoed on me.
24 hours light? Check.
Watering Issues? Check.
Regular pruning and cloning? Check.
Temperature extremes? Check.
REVERTING from flower? Check.
No issues.
My pack was purchased from Serious around 05-06 or thereabouts. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.

The cherry ak cut has been all over nor cal recently. Have no idea what year its from but they all look very uniform in appearance. Short bushy and thick stemmed. They are very hardy from all appearances.

same here Anti and ive just got the cut and it too is from the SS stock from around 06.
ive been reading some threads in the Breeders Forum and maybe the autoflower is a result of too much inbreeding or bx and therefore genetic mutations/abnormalities start showing and thus passed to the later generations of AK 47.
im not trying to start shit but trying to make sense of why later versions of AK tend to show this trait and the Pre 07 AK seems to do fine.
im not saying that the auto flower trait wasnt present in the early AK's but that it has become more dominant.
just my novice take on this.
