Cheech & Chong Nike Shoe

Nike had a 420 shoe last year too. Called the Skunk, these look better then the cheech one IMO

Is cheech still on the anti drugs thing?
Anyway, those shoes don't say C+C to me at all..... Nike will probably catch shit for the red rags, just like new era did with the rag hats.

Only 1000 pairs to be made.
Wonder how many will be robbed for these status symbols? or shot because the 'wrong color bandana' is being flown in the 'wrong area of town'?

ugly kicks .... they will sell them to fan boys though. ... and bloods.

those saddle straps are ridiculous and tacky. I asked a few of my sneakerhead friends about their thoughts and they just laughed. Those skunks were designed better and so are these Casey Customs:

I don't see how they represent cheech & chong. Also lets think about who they are marketing these to. Its probably not stoners because I can't see how it has anything to do with the cannabis culture. If you think about who sports these kind of sneakers the most, Im going to say young black urban youth or just youth in general who are potentially in a gang. I know this sounds stereotypical but I wouldn't be surprised if these are specifically marketed to blood gang members. Im pretty sure the bloods are one of the biggest gang in the U.S. I don't know, not stoner wear in my opinion. All I can see is a potential collectable item that might have value in 10 years.

Honestly most folks that buy these don't wear em.
They did an article in the Washington Post a while back when the new air jordans came out. Folks were waiting in line up to 36 hours in advance. When most were asked what they do with them the average answer was.....seal in a airtight bag and put away.
WTF? I'll be damned if I'm going to stand in a line that long, spend that kind of money, and then put the shoe away in a bag in a closet.

East Asians buy used retro Nike and Rebok. I saw a pair of used '89 Pat Ewing high tops going for ~$600. They sure were ugly. I bet a new old stock could get double.

Not into the sneaker fashion myself...

Give me Chaco sandals and Italian hiking boots !

BTW

Norteño bangers would love those Nike as well.
