Thank you again to everyone for the continued positive vibes & well wishes I haven't been able to check in as often as I like, but evertime I do there's been a message or three of kinds words and encouragement.

I did get confirmation on some great news this morning.
Christopher was moved to a critical care facility yesterday afternoon.It's the medical equivalent to a halfway house.

He has made sufficient progress with his physical wounds to the point they wanted to start incorporating some PT.
He will also be under the care of a psychologist who is specifically trained to treat those with PTSD.

It looks as if we'll be getting him back on the right coast after another week!

Thanks to youth and the collective, his recovery has been nothing short of miraculous!

Still cautiously optimistic, some serious issues we're going to deal with, but thankful he's still around to work on them. When I think back to when I was 23....who am I kidding, I can't remember back that far


Again, I can't express how much the outpouring of sentiment,prayers and well wishes have meant to me personally.

We don't realize how much we need each other until stuff like this happens...unfortunate that it takes that sometimes.
