When you start to sell tickets this pricey for a "Show" , Charlie needed to have something "wild & entertaining" put together with some kind of pace involved that held the audience together . Sounds like he lost control rapidly from the start & didn't have anything put together and literally didn't have his "act together" .
There were some feeble attempts at making some "Crack Jokes" because Detroit would be more open to them ? Kind of lame reasoning , not even some decent Vatican jokes or any kind of coherent stand-up stories or monologues to keep peoples attention focussed . Playing some vids of past movies , running on & off stage when the opening comedian bombed , bringing out his "Goddesses" for a bit & Snoop Dog a no~show. (who could blame him <G)
There are actors that have done absolutely magnificient One Man Shows on Stage with scripts , some of my very favorite theatre . But Charlie's got to realize that just posing on stage spouting some disheveled weak rants and spoiled Hollwood actor mumblings isn't going to cut it with a paying audience that expected a little more than this .
Weak , lame ...back to the gated Hollywood compound for him , sorry Charlie but you Bombed & you bombed really badly . No insights of a life spent as an insider in Hollywood or as an actor with something relevant to say personally or some captivating wild stories ...what was revealing was witnessing a spoiled , self indulgent numbed out ass who had been better off staying in the safety of his gated million dollar home with his immature goddess babies.
At least he could have prepared a script & had some good writers work on something entertaining based on the "Vatican Warlock Assassin" persona or legendary Party Animal ....but we just got a weak rambling sketched-out Charlie , which didnt cut it in Detroit
