Sour Diesel

got a sack from a new guy the other day and he claimed it was 'sour diesel' shipped in from washington state. im not very cultured in strains by any means but ive smoked plenty it this stuff sure does have a unique taste which i will do my best to describe using dj shorts chart.

physical: as you can see very few hairs and lots of trics. the pics of SD i see online are light green, but instead these nugs are a dark/foresty green. the smell was very strong - pretty minty with a little citrus/foral scent going on. this is the first nug ive ever had smell thru a prescription btl and it was just a half smoked joint.

taste: heavy taste that lingered for awhile, very woody almost like smoked bbq over some good quality timber.

the reason im hunting this strain is because the high was much more uplifting than the couchlock stuff that normally comes around here... if anyone has suggestions for strains to grow that are upbeat/energetic to smoke during the day that would help me out a ton!

Orginal Diesel maybe, i ran accross some werk that was similar looking to this a few months ago, homeboy said it was SD, but idk, it was real skunky, with a slight fuel taste.

If you want upbeat energetic smoke, I'd recommend Super Silver Haze and crosses containing it. Great daytime puffs!

Outdoor whatever it is, its got that dark weathered look to it. Still getting outdoor imports here in Michigan....

Doesnt really look like sourd to me. You will know if its sour by the taste, its unmistakable.

Sour D is a lovely daytime smoke, makes some great crosses too. Look into SSSDH(super silver haze x sour d)

Sour diesel can grow outdoors you guys know. It very well could be sd, without smelling and smoking it who can really say. best to commit it to memory and if some sd comes around again then you can compare with your previous experiences.

Also, it has been my experience that sd is usually a bit darker in color so the look you describe lends itself to id as sd.

diesel can get some purple hues when its grown outdoors... anyway it looks too leafy for diesel to me, diesel also has big calyxes, while this herb has just medium or smaller calyxes right?... i would suggest trainwreck since minty smell but who knows...
