200 watt's of cfl's VS 150 watt's of HPS?

i think a 150hps would be better, but i would hang it horizontally with a good reflector that doesnt use up too much height. others may disagree.
it just sounds like too small a space to do vert, but im no expert on vert myself. dont get seduced by all the high yield talk about vert - you can get just as high yields with horizontal too.
you are relying on your reflector to throw half of your light back down. buy a decent one that suits the footprint of your cab.

150hps is my adice bro, just get it done, plants under 3k cfls compared to an hps is no contest. there 68 bucks at htg garden supply
Here's 1/2 of my 1st 150w hps vert grow...I've grown with a 600w hps vert before and had great results also, but I couldn't believe what the 150 put out. My cab is 24"wide x20"deep x48" high though...
I vote for 150w vert

In the first picture you posted what exactly are you doing with those buds? Is that some way to slow down the drying before curing or something?

Heheh...nothing special going on in that pic Fattie. Those were just the three biggest buds from the plant in the other pic I posted, the 20oz bottles are only for a size reference to show what a 150w hps can do in a vert setup...I had to put water in them because the buds were so heavy the bottles kept falling over
