Does spraying one branch with CS render the whole plant 'Unusable'?

Hello all, i have a question for those who may know.
I understand that when you spray colloidal silver on a female to produce some male flowers, the plant in mention cannot be used, yes?
But, i was wondering if this is only if you are spraying the whole plant. If you only spray one small branch does only the one branch produce male flowers, and also become unusable?
Thanks, and regards :)

:thank you:

CS is not poisonous, the recommendation not to smoke related to the acid residue of silver thiosulfate and were automatically transferred to the CS without proper critical analysis.

Thanks jump117, i am not sure exactly what you mean, other than that CS is not poisonous. Could you please explain?

What ppm are you talking about ion? I found a bottle of 'high concentrated' CS at 50ppm, i asked someone else and they said that they thought it would be strong enough for plants, and the place i bought it from was a health store.

Active agent of the process are the silver ions, they inhibit the synthesis of ethylene, which is the feminine phytohormon.

In the old days, the silver ions were prepared by dissolving in water silver thiosulphate (STS),
which was prepared from silver nitrate,
which is a very aggressive reagent, causing severe chemical burns.

It was declared a warning about the dangers of smoking flowers treated with silver,
although the actual warning concerns not silver, and acid residue of its salt.

Later this warning was automatically extended to colloidal silver,
although it contains no acid residues,
as in the colloidal silver ions are produced by electrolysis.

Ok thanks again jump117, so i think you are saying that it really shouldn't be a problem using a plant that has been sprayed with CS, and therefore if only one small branch has been sprayed then the rest of the plant should be fine/ unaltered? Is that correct?

Yes, that's what I had in mind, though to minimize the risk
I was extracted amber from these flowers and only smoke it,
leaving the unknown dangers in an empty cake.

I asked this question almost a year ago and then did not get a clear answer.

I note that the "medical" CS with a claimed 50 ppm did not work in my practice, better make it yourself, it's not hard.

I'll try the bought stuff first, it's pretty cheap, and i have read that 30/40ppm of homemade seems to work (on some varieties).

You take the risk of spending time in vain to purchase CS, I've had success with DIY CS 45-50 ppm
