A couple of months ago, I met a guy that said he was a wood burning artist-- I took him on his word, and paid him to make me a custom desk-- He used some wood I had, some pine for the drawers, and birch for the top and drawer faces...and mahogany for all the darker wood--

He did all the work, and I stained and clear coated it-- The drawer with the skull is not stained or coated yet.I have to go work in the desert at the Collective tomorrow...so I prolly won't be commenting on this post past tomorrow morning--

reminds me of the daze when wood buring kits were popular back in the 60's for xmas gifts... they would come with some stencils and I ended up burning things all over the house..
