2' x 3' chemmy jones scrog

just stuck 6 regular chemmy jones seeds by connoisseur genetics into paper towel method for germination. Im currently flowering 2 sour creams by DNA genetics, 2 speed queen by mandala seeds, 1 crimera blue by barneys farm, and 1 OG kandy kush by reserva privada seeds. These all are in a 3' x 3' closet with 600w HPS. The chemmy jones is getting its own small cupboard for a scrog attempt. It might be a few days for the germination and them to hit soil but I will be running them under a H-O sunblaze T-5 2' x 2', in a tub 18" x 27" with 1" of hydroton on bottom for drainage and 6" of FFOF mixed w/ perlite. Weed out males and grow hopefully grow 2 possibly 3 girls under a 2" x 2" screen, fill it FULL and any extra girls will be gifted to a lucky gro bro. All plants recently have been fed with Flora Nova Gro/Bloom nutes and seem to be loving the stuff. I'll try to update this with some pics shortly.
My last three harvests have been alright, first two were stictly bubbledust by nirvana seed co. and I like it alot, but the last harvest was phenominal having a mixed harvest of bubbledust and sour cream and I have to say the sc is some killer smoke.
Now Im moving on to more flavor and variety and I like it alot. Thanks ahead of time to all who visit my secret gardens. BD

Hey Bubble, welcome!, you got a nice little setup going here, very sim. to mine!.... I got a 2x4 tent with a 600watt HPS, and an old big dog crate I converted into a veg area sporting a 4ft 6bulb HO T5.. works great... I think your scrog attempt is going to suprise you in a good way ;)... I have connoisseur genetics Chocolope x SSSDH vegging atm...

Deff. watching this one, this strain by csg also caught my eye... and your setup is very sim....*pulls up chair*

Thanks, Ive heard nothing but GREAT reviews on CG. And so far 6 of 6 seeds have cracked and hit soil this morning, already today 2 have broke the surface with theit tiny little shell helmet.

View attachment 109637 Sorry some of the pics are a bit blurry, I'll take my time next round. As you can see the last two little sprouts in the pics are sort of iffy, I hope they survive, I think their little seed shell helmet may have hindered early developement. Sort of sad. BD

*squeezes their little cheeks* lol, awesome... I love little seedlings, all gr8 weed starts with a seed ;).. I'm waiting for some of my new gear to germ., I was convinced my order from theatitude seedbank wasn't gonna make it($200~) in beans... had me sweating for 2 weeks and they finally showed up yesterday!... I really wish gypsy would carry TGA Subcool's gear and D.N.A. Labs because I am a loyal bou. customer and for once had to try someone else... anyways got some Vortex by subcool, Cataract Kush and L.A. Cheese from D.N.A. germ'ing atm along side chocolope x sssdh by csg, they have a good 4-6 weeks to veg. anyways while they wait for space to open in my flower tent...no rush here

Your Chimera Blue looks very sim. in structure/bushyness as my blue sat. 2.2, I'm hoping she will be some dank smoke and fill in nicely w/o the need for much defoliation to open it up to more light... have you experimented much with plant manipulation like topping.. training etc..?

Any paticular reason you put all the seedlings into one tray? seems like a huge hassle to transplant them... I can see beds if they were clones and deep enough.

I was sort f planning to run them in this tub til completion, but your probably spot on, too shallow, I may have to get a bigger tub, or just go with 1 gallon pots, IDK. Im sort of procrastinating on posting pics of all the flowering girls , at least until I can get a coupleof them to stop bleaching on me, I have done quite a bit of fimming, LST, and super cropping in my day, my OGKK is stretchy as hell and Ive already supercropped her ass 3 times. That crimera blue is with only 1 topping at the 4th node and chucked into flowering, breeder says that this strain is ready for flowering after her first three leafsets. She does have a cool look to her.
Cant wait to see what you do with that LA cheese, my wife is from England and I smoked quite a bit of the Exodus cut UK Cheese, REAL strong and stinky, so Im also excited to pop the Cheesedog by connoisseur. Thanks for the tips, I'll work on that tub issue. Midwest, you say?? Sounds local to me.

Yeap deff. wanna go deeper, but since you started reg. seed prob. would of been better to of put them into dixie cups or 1gal then once you got your healthy females picked out either plant into deep bed or clone the hell out of your best THEN put em into beds... atleast you will have uniform growth and not have to worry about disturbing the plants around the ones you pull... the roots seem to mingle and mix amoung each other in beds which can make taking out an unwanted one a bitch/risky without damaging/disturbing the roots to the ones around it... not to sound preachy you seem to know a lot and from what I seen I'm prob just saying shit that is common knowledge to you but you never know lol.. sometimes I wished ppl would of pointed things like that out to me when I first started would of saved me lots of time and problems... so now I take it upon myself to help others avoid my same mistakes.

as far as the L.A. cheese... I KNOW! I can't wait to grow her out, L.A. Confidential is suppose to be a mean bitch ;)... and I've never had the pleasure of trying to infamous UK cheese.. exodus cut which is what is used/crossed with the L.A. Confidential, the cataract kush from DNA labs caught my attention because I've been wanting a o.g. kush cross in my garden.. the L.A. Cheese 6pack feminized where freebies! for buying the Cataract kush also 6bean fem. pack

and Yeap the cold ass windy city lol ;)

I wouldnt go as far as "know what Im doing" but they are weeds and I grew grass about 10+ years ago also, but alot has changed in 10 years, and I am a real fast learner. Wish this plant would grow faster. just built a nice little 8 place bubble cloner and I cant wait to try her out on these chemmy clones. Pull clones from each, sex and then, yes prob cut clones from best one and pot in bigger pots, for the scrog. Thanks for the tips and look forward to seeing these cupboards we have to show us some action. BD

BTW those SC pix from DNA Gen. looked mean.. how was the smoke?

The little sproutlets are doing well, only 1 failed to survive out of 6, even though 1 is sort of stunted/retarded ??? started with no cotyledon leaves yet finally started to get its standard seratred leaves, its a bit behind the others who already have started their baby second set. So 4 forsure good ones whom I expect all girls of course.

o wow, that was from revegging huh?.. that's awesome! nice to see it done successfully... some strains don't respond well to it or hermie a lot quicker depending on how many reveg's.

Your chemmy jone's girls r looking healthy!, slightly bigger than my chocolate lemonade(chocolope x sssdh) from CSG sprouts... still watching this one keep the updates coming :)
