AusHydroPlus ~ PsychoVeg product

I bought a product from my local hydro store called PsychoVeg by AusHydroPlus. It was reletivly cheap in price when compared to other veg type product like ryzotonic or cannazyme.

It comes from a "line"
PsycoVeg - stage 1
PsycoBud - stage 2
PsycoFinish - stage 3

There are no ingrediants on the product label so i have no idea what is in it.

The website that it lists dodgy type site, lists hydro stuff, womens shoes, mobile phones and links to dating websites etc.

The claim on the label is ...
*stimulates rapid root development
*Accelerates cell division
*Promotes lush vigorous growth
*reduces internodal length
*builds BIG stems to hold BIG buds!

My hydro shop guy recomended it. I am running it with cannazyme and rhizo atm and i am having an issue that i cannot pin point and i am left wondering if this product being used with the canna products is the cause. The list above is really seems to = a wonder product for any one in veg, but the fact they do not say whats inside it leaves me wondering.

Has anyone used this product before and/or what are you thoughts on it?

Even though i have the upmost faith in my local hydro guy, the shop does sell rubbish like the liquid snake oil in jars that your supposed to soak your seeds in to "garrentee" a female.

Wow how gay and incestuous is the oz hydro scene? Last time I went to the hydro store I saw Cyco's range of nutes. I looked through them and could only conclude that they are shit and are one of those deals where you need to buy the whole range before all the elements are supplied.

So these petshop boyz (Seriously? Come the fuck on. Big clue right there) are trying to cash in on Cyco's ahem, "good name"? Fuck that, bro. Never tip anything on your plants if you don't know what it is. Nobody in business gives a shit about your wellbeing, just making money off people who cannot work out basic plant nutrition, and that is not meant to be a diss btw.

Having said that, I obviously have not used it. Just Will be funny if people start breaking out the 2 pound plant pics they grew with this shit. Still, I would be curious of the heavy metal levels etc.

lol i got cyco veg and cyco bloom, in a package deal with my tent, was gonna use it to get rid of it, no point of it sitting round.
but your right its got fuck all in it, like 2-3 minerals in both veg and bloom,(different mins for bloom than veg)

Has any ever used this CYCO brand before? is it half decent? dont want it to go to waste just sitting there lol

yeh sweet sounds good HC, ive also got some old veg nutes flower power from my outside grow last year,
so if this cyco shit doesn't work then ill just switch back to that for the time being.

After this 1st run i wanna get some proper coco nutes will work alot better.

cyco nutes are alright . Have tested in a run to waste coco garden with good results. IMO there are tried and true products that are better, eg canna/house&garden. From other reports Cyco seems to give inconsistant results.

As for "Phyco" be skeptical, why subject yourself to possible failure when you have products that you already know the outcome.

Yeah atm i am thinking along these lines. The Cyco and psyco products are two different products, however i was interested on a side note to know what people think about cyco (since the thread went there) as i am also using some of there additives for flowering.

This weekend when i change the res out i am not putting the PsycoVeg in. I think ill stick with proven products i am using such as rhizotonic and cannazyme for veg additives.

I can drop a link to the product on ebay or the like, i'm just not sure on the rules regarding links to externals websites here

As soon as i finish this plain water ive got, im gonna start feeding my sprout with 1/4 str cyco veg, so ill keep ya posted in how it goes, hoping it goes half decent at least, not to worried seeming it was basically free.
Trial and Error for CYCO i say.

Aus Hydro used to be one of the biggest online suppliers in Australia, I'm not sure what happened to them but they practically disappeared overnight. Psycho Veg & Bloom were decent in their day, Cyco nutes are apparently the shiz nitz if you use the whole range, but they are comparable cost to Canna and that would get the guernsey hands down in my view.

Hey man. I got given a bottle of that PsychoVeg stuff a few years ago, and it was a few years old back then!

Smells and looks like kelp/seaweed to me.

Cyco came out about 2-3 years ago. way after that PsychoVeg stuff came out. Apparently alot of people returned the Cyco stuff with problems of mould/growth in the actual concentrate bottles. I bought a set (grow/bloom) because it was cheaper than the others. Seems to work alright to me. But I use a mixture of ferts really. Had no real problems because of the Cyco stuff, but one of the bottles of the grow stuff has some floaties....

I'm surprised that PsychoVeg stuff is still around. I'd like to try the others.... I only had the Veg.
