Would it be ok to give them some ?

I was told by someone that it helps promote growth in young plants

but the person who told me this has never grown before

anytime, every watering, just make sure to check and adjust pH because it will make it very acidic.

Any time you want. Or, just leave it out. Plants won't know the difference either way.

Use it every time you water, all it does is make the water brown, so you think it's doing something.

dont use that stuff during flowering! I'm not sure on the chemistry behind it, but that stuff will hinder flowering plants to no end...

I've used it before in young vegging plants and didn't really notice anything different, so I stopped using it....

Mostly snake oil. A small amount of NAA for cell division and elongation. The 50's advertising is fun to read. Many studies by university researchers showing no real benefits.

I read somewhere on this site that it is only usefull if sprayed onto the foliage and even then the concentration of whatever works in it is too low to do any good.

I can't find the link to the thread but the dude who said it seemed educated and i found him somewhat convincing so i dropped it from my feeding schedule.
