hey gang! DSoG here...


been lurkin in the vert forum for a lil bit here.... thought i'd start a vert room up for myself, as the results look promising.

well, i lurked enough to emulate somewhat... it's lookin a bit rough, maybe some of you's could help me polish it up a bit?




2 barebulb 600's, and the effective space is around 8x8 i guess.

600's wont have the power to illuminate 8 feet wide.. try to slim the system down too 5 feet by 8. my advice would be to put one side of the room.build a platform for your shelves and sit it on wheels . roll it oopen to gain acces and room the work then when your done roll it back to optimum lighting..

but besides that its looking good.. its all about tweaking and bettering things as you notcie were things need work.. we here in the vert can help but its up to you what advice you take in the end..

yes, i am still in veg and the strain selection is mostly tangerine haze (as i feel it is prob best suited for this type of thing), but i also got some golden skush, pre98 bubba k, dr bud's top secret, stu, and nif.

I've always wanted to run that Tangerine Haze, I run a local strain developed here in Santa Cruz called the "Tang". I have a belief (although no proof) that it might have some "kinship" with the Tangerine Haze...so this will be a fun thread to follow and see how it develops.

looks like one pic almost lol... thats 2 tho haha. threw some plants in a tub for the hell of it.... this round is all about experimenting... still, pointers are always welcome.

youll love the sideways angled canopy a stadium or step style will grow into, its my personal favorite gardening method, youll be equally impressed with the turnout compared to horizontal too..

your love for the herb is showin, keep on keepin on..

installed the extra shelving on far wall then relocated some plantage onto it... floor getting bare again... will b xplanting more plants asap to cram into here hehe. plant count already at 50



so, i should probably install trellis netting soon eh?
