POt size n yields

Sooooo, true,x a hundred, the plant does not give a FUCK where it's food comes from,It want's to grow.

Ask what it likes best:)

It likes compost made from food refuse that came from groceries bought in Trader Joes, Whole Foods, and other organic markets. Cuz you know. organic is good for u.

chem grown erb is all the same, mono dimensional buzz, its just not as good, does it suck nope, but im very bored with salt parched dry crumbly hydro erb i really am, its just missing something, and that something isnt in your coco n lucas formula's it just isnt. it doesnt matter were the food came from what matters is that no food is missing, if u think all of life is in a bottle of your fancy miracle grow of choice thats up to you.

nobody said soil tasted better, coco will taste better as it will flush better but that n yeild is it, for high nope , its a second.

The high? Seriously? The buzz is not determined by the medium you grow in!! The genetics and when you harvest determine the buzz, not whether it was grown in dirt, coco, hydro, or however else you decide to grow it.

Properly grown plants using salt based nutes will not be harsh or chemmy...but will out yield a plant in soil all day. Just because someone uses soil, does not mean it was fed properly or that it will be any better. If you are smoking chemmy herb, then the grower did not do a good job....period

u said nothing, genetics and when u harvest determine the buzzz? what about nutes? my point exactly, soil erb has more nutes then your lucas formula, sure there lousy soil erb n lousy hydro, but good organic compared to good hydry is 1st place soil and second place hydro everytime, just the way it is.

Awful. Another lame soil vs hydro debate that goes nowhere and proves nothing.

Yeah, it is hard to do side by sides with two separate growing systems. I bet most start with hydro, find it too difficult with ph problems, etc, then move to soil and with it's buffer, provides a better plant, better smoke. I understand the preference for organics when looking at the environment though, self sufficiency, I share the concern, IF you are actually MAKING your own organic (compost, teas, etc) and not just buying a bottle of stuff that says "organic" on the label, it just SEEMS right lol

If you taste salts it wasnt flushed. I grew organix for a bit straight out of the sticky tea thread. the only diference I noticed was the organics weighed less and I could feed it to the end. If you give pot a good flush atleast 10 days with 0 ppm water it tastes like the strain does. Each strain does have a natural flavor. Penn and tellers Bullshit episode really pulls the plug on the organic crowd by 3 out of 3 testers liking the hydro tomatoes over the organic ones. People cannot taste what nutrients a plant uses to make energy What people taste is a salt residue if it isnt flushed right.

actually I usually taste alot of nitrogen in most organic grows because they dont flush as much

And to get back on topic pot size with coco depend on how you want to feed it. A one gallon pot fed 3 times per day with the proper root mass will out yield a 3 gallon pot fed once per day. Coco is a hydro medium If you want to treat it as soil it is best to use a bigger pot if you want a massive root system in a small pot you can feed heavily use smaller pots.

What in the hell are you talking about? Yes genetics and harvest time determine the buzz....what do you think does? What do you want to know about nutes? If you feed your plants properly, in any medium...they will reward you. Plants do not care where the food is coming from, but what it is getting fed.

Taste the nitrogen in Organics, or maybe some left over bat shit. I am not knocking organics BTW, every method is great if done right. I just do not like growing in soil personally...it is dirty, yields way less, has bugs, and it does not taste or smell any better than my Coco buds or my hydro. If you like soil, cool...but it is not superior.

i used to use soil (Organic)...

what makes coco better...(for me)
plants grow faster
roots grow faster & stronger as the can get through the coco faster...
cant over water....well you can if left in standing water (trechfoot). you can grow a bigger plant in a smaller pot.
plants can even finish faster.
you can flush faster
coco is lighter

bad things about coco.

you have to water/feed most days

but there are some soil jedi's out there but mostly use the own organic mixes

keep it green
