What constitutes 'The Strongest Herb'?

Even as a relative noob, I see this thread posted at least once a week. Someone looking for the 'Strongest Strain' known to man. One that will melt your face off and make you so sterile that even jerking off will be pointless. (You all get the point)

But what exactly is 'strong' considered by these people on the search?

Is it a strong psychedelic sativa with a high THC/CBD ratio?
Or are they looking for the melt into the couch so far you find the remote and change from last year indica?

What about a nice hybrid that gets you so couchlocked that all you can do is enjoy the psyches from the comfort of the floor?

Personally, edibles have been the big ticket winner when it comes to 'the strongest' (effect wise) Better yet - my swampwater (similar to Green Dragon but made with ABV from my vape) has been by far the most intense I have ever experienced. I had to actually come down a notch or two before I could start white knuckling and thinking oh shit.

What says you? What is your criteria for 'strongest strain'?
I personally feel that there are too many variables to consider when it comes to a question as vague as this.

but if i had to choose id go for a 100day sativa with a thc level of 20% or higher

Well, I do remember a discussion on this a while back and a guy made the analogy of 'Whats the most venomous snake in the world?' - (The correct answer is the one that just bit you)

In other words, whatever the smoke/vape du jour is, is the best strain. (LOL) I have a hard time getting on board with that because I usually have more than one on hand and I enjoy them differently.

ill take the sativa anyday. but i think its the high thc and cbd hybrids that get you the most fucked up. your stuck on the couch and your mind is just racing. its fun sometimes but i prefer a strong sativa.

I'm purely a Sativa guy. I want to venture into the world and actually do something after smoking. If I were looking to lay on the couch all day and watch Beavis & Butthead. I'd eat some Xanax or something.

I've tried to get the point across to a buddy. He's the polar opposite of myself. Where he's into Black Domina and SFV Kush...I've found an incredible strain out of the Safari Mix that's mostly Sativa. I'd be happy with that strain for the rest of my life. He OTOH is constantly searching for 'bigger and badder'' and is the Indica guy.

He'll argue all day, every day that his Domina is better than my stash. Try as I may. I'll never convince him that we're looking for altogether different results.

Strongest is irrelevant to me.Everyone wants what they want in terms of being high,stoned whatever.I have smoked shit that will leave you in the corner drooling(as we all have)but a week in and the buzz is not what it was in the beginning.I equate it this way,good smoke is not judged by how high it gets me,it is judged on how long it keeps getting me to where I want to be.I am running the same strain for over a year now and am very content(and fucking ripped)JMHOBC

Im the Indica guy. I smoke weed all day and my tolerance builds quik. I loose patience I smoke a doob with someone and three hits latter there like Im fucked Im good usually Im like really. I like to mix the indica smoke with a little indica sativa blend hash. Then I can feel it. Straight indica hash will also make me feel it. I consider feeling it not being comfortable to talk to strangers or drive.

For me some strains like Aurora Indica help me sleep when I'm stressed and I get so strapped to the recliner with the drooling and squinty eye's it gets me to that place of ( I'm Fucked Up ) and when I smoke a sativa strain I like to go out and shoot some pool & have a few cold ones with some buffalo wings watching a sports game with some homies, just find what's right for you and enjoy what's out their...
