:cathug:lol...Hey Disco!! Thanks:)..2 more weeks and she can eat to her hearts content:blowbubbles:
Here are some pice of the cab...
picture.php

this is my DIY louver..still needs another coat of paint then a frame around it...its made from thin angled aluminum and small pieces of that wood all glued together..

picture.php

i'll have 4 of those pvc tubes once I finish painting...Its the same vacuum tubing...
picture.php

here is the mogul socket all ready to go:jump:I lucked out with it already having 2 bolts attached..I used aluminum cut to shape then drilled holes to mount everything...does it look okay?? its taken me awhile to come up with something I feel safe with so let me know if its wrong..thanks:)
picture.php

here it is inside the cooltube...of course I will bend the strips over once alls ready..I still have 10 inches of room for a 9.5 inch bulb...I just made it by half an inch...thats why I made my own version with the strips up top..just to fit everything..
look forward to your comments:wave:
Thanks

Thank you hazydreams! my sentiments exactly:)
Thanks DiscoBiscuit:wave:..i am going to post a pic of my wiring BEFORE I solder/mount it...I am so paranoid of fires...my house burnt down when I was young....
Thank you Sgt.Stedenko:tiphat:...there is 1 on the way!! now I have to wire that too:comfort:lol...
Thanks StupidBoy!! I drilled a 3 inch hole for intake in the veg compartment so a louver was my best option...there will be 4 T5's which get semi-hot..learnt that from this cab...
Thank you Chomp:wave:

What about using the reflector inside my 150 hps for my new cool-tube? its the same size almost exactly...
Thanks in advance

Thanks DiscoBiscuit:tiphat:...What do you think about using the 150 hps shell as a reflector for my cooltube?? It fits perfectly...it reflects a 2 square foot space too and thats what I have...let me know..
I will be back tonight with pics

BC,
I don't think you could go wrong with the reflector unless it takes up too much vertical space.
I ghetto'd one out of Reflectix and a wire coat hanger when I ran my 400 in a cool tube.
Sure made opening up the cab a little easier on the eyes.
Ghettotastick.

I think you'll like the S&P. One word of caution. The electrical access panel/box is made of plastic, so dont overtighten the screws holding the panel in place or you will strip them.
I did.

Hello BC ol' buddy. I'm nearly in time for harvest and it looks juicy! The hole saw set I bought ages ago was for plasterboard or something (many times cheaper than the proper tool) and we managed to to drill about 4 x 100mm (I think) holes thru 14mm marine plywood, and then another 6 holes thru the roughly 8mm plywood I used for my pll cab. Damn it was loud but somehow it worked. :tiphat:

Thanks Sgt.Stedenko:tiphat:I have quite alot of room vertically above the light...I think it hangs 12 inches down from the top so hopefully it works:comfort:..I'm very excited about the S&P:) Caution noted!! Is it easy to wire??
Hey Scrub!!! Its just great to hear from you bro!!Thanks!! Did you see the louver I made?? straight from the teacher himself:wave:..Hope all is well my friend and please keep in touch when you can:)...You drilled alot of holes with that bit...man! I'll try looking them up online...
forgot pics...lol..be back quick...
The AK 48 I grew has cured and is as strong as anything:dance:..It tastes like Pine/Skunk cross and hits hard...I made some iso-hash out of a few buds last night...HomerLand all over again...lol..
Pics soon

Wiring is a piece of cake.
Take a computer power cord (thrift store $1), cut off the rectangular female end and toss it. Strip back about 1-2" of the plastic/rubber cover to expose the three wires. Strip the hot and neutral wires. There's no connection for a ground wire in the fan case, so no need to strip it. The electrical terminal box has a 1/2" hole cut through the side for the wire penetration. I used a 1/2" male thread x compression fitting from the electrical aisle at HD for the transition and held it in place with a electric locknut. The wires insert into a terminal block, so you'll need a small flat bladed screwdriver to loosen and tighten the set screws. There is one terminal for the neutral wire and two for the hot wire. One hot terminal is for low speed and the second hot terminal is for high. Choose your poison.

It give you a fan with a 6 foot cord which you can plug into any outlet, or you can wire up an outlet controlled by a speed regulator. If you need a longer cord, try the dollar store extension cords.

Thank you again Sgt:thank you:...Sounds straightforward...sorry I'm so paranoid but better safe than sorry...so I could plug it in to a speed controller if I wanted?
Here's some more pics:)

The one on the other side ( underneath the pc fan) is as big as this one:jump:

I had to pull this cola to the side so it would'nt burn from the hps..It happened my first TW grow ( the beginning of this thread) and it tasted horrible:comfort:
Hope you like the pics and, as always, I can't wait to hear from you all again:wave:
Thanks again for all the help!
