if im reading correctly 25 plants or more is a trafficing charge up to 15 years.
THIS INCLUDES CUTTINGS THAT ONLY SHOW NUBS?
cAN THEY COUNT anything already cut?roots outside? stalks?
this is outragious!
another thing i read is if children are present the incarcaration is up to 30 years? yeah up to 30 years for even cuttings?

Subsection (3) makes it a first degree felony (punishable by 30 years in Florida State Prison) for any person who is in actual or constructive possession of a grow house or other place with the knowledge of the following:
a. That the place is being used to manufacture marijuana intended for sale or distribution to another (presumped if 25 or more cannabis plants are present); and
b. Who knew or should have known that a minor child is present or resides in the place."

looks like a seperate location for vegg only would solve commercial guys. 10 week veg for those who cant but thats some long delays and if you want a 12 week strain your talking 5 1/2 months. That must be why 7-8 weeks strains are all anyone every does around.

Im just a simple smoker although i smoke alot and i mean alot ive decided crossing that 25 is not worth it . Its very tempting with cuttings and what not or to overlap your grows saying ill get the #'s down in a few weeks then you take more cuts and weeding out males my god. That really sucks

still concerned about stalks and roots. Cant find much on cases where this law was used to prosecute someone close to 25 most have 40, 60 80 or more). what if you had 20 in soil and 10 hang drying and the roots outside partially degraded?
fucking cuttings? jezz! So for 30 cuttings with nubs you could face 30 years? Draconian is putting it mildly

These forums are the perfect place to let others know of immoral and insensible laws that our law makers devise. But they only make these laws because they act on media hype and roll with perceived public opinion. If you want to bitch then you should turn your focus onto the media editors and producers first. Then to your Federal, State and Local representatives. The media needs to hype and sensationalize stories that's how they get the numbers of readers to sell advertising. Let them know you want stories that balance the hype with the truth. Only then will we see moral and sensible legislation.

You guys could grow perpetually and cut clones from the veg (clone) plants going into flower over and over and keep regenerating them that way if you grow an 8 weeker and have 12 going in every 4 weeks you can keep harvesting all the time and only have 24 plants max? Just an idea good luck down there be safe and move west when you can we have plenty of sunshine too!

as a patient in cali, the limt in my county for med marijuana is 12
for me thats unrealastic i think cali fed # is 99 sometimes i have been close,
everybody has thier limts and mine is 99 i do not want to battle
the feds in court over cannabis, almost certaint PRISON time .

Theres people here in cali who were doing indoors. 1 light per plant. Long veg times - but pulling over a pound per plant. just bonsai it. 24 plants. 12 per cycle. with veg times youd probably only get off 2 maybe 3 harvys a year but you could be pulling 12+ pounds per cycle...

or just move to a more sensible state who wont put non violent herb smokers in jail for decades for doing something that has no victim and causes no harm...

State laws don't guard asses nearly as much as people hoped they would.

There are growers who moved to a "legal" state sitting in prison.

I'm not saying it's right, more like it's all wrong

Well the FL bull shit laws say PRESUMED at 25, that doesn't mean that they can't prosecute you for intent with less than 25, it only means you are extra fucked by a legal presumption at over 25.

My guess is if you have multiple 1lb tress the pigs will charge you with intent even with less than 25 plants.

They have more privately owned prisons than any other state in the US.

They make there own laws up there. Its all about the money honey

The people in Florida have voted in the extreme right, folks it ain't gonna get a better until the vote changes. In Florida the land of fossils the vote may take some time.

Had a daughter that lived in Florida they bailed back to Colorado.
