OK gang - Version 2 rev 1.4a;

SO far we have added a third shelve and are even planning another small shelf to compete the square for 4-5 more plants MORE PLANTS!

Also THANK YOU DHF and so many others - the Cal-Mag and the Zym's are making an immense difference that we can see already NO YELLOW leaves at all, their is still a slight purpling of the stems but nothing like I had before, and the leaves are a dark, healthy green just beautiful!

OK we added two more 600 NextGen Digital Ballast's (got them used for $300) that brings total lumens to 3200 - Yeah baby TIME TO GET SERIOUS

and;

NextGens in their own shelf;

Strains currently are ; AffyGoey, Goo and more Tang, in the veg room are;

picture.php

C99;

picture.php

Cheese (I've wanted to grow this for a long time);

picture.php

Grape Skunk;

picture.php

Cooking in the cloner are more AffyGooey, Goo and Tang (just want to retain the genetic's and I do not have enough room for a mother tent anymore);

We still have to cover everything in Reflectix, and put up the trellis but I am shooting for 2.5 - 3lbs (possibly more?) I think I need to get more plants to really get to 1 to 1.5 gpw and that is going to involve a total re-design and my gro-bro is really not into ANOTHER rebuild heheh, but I think I can convince him. I am still trying to identify a specific strain to mono-crop and within the next two runs I should have one I will identify and clone.

Grow on my brothers/sistas and join me for another sweet ride!

it looks to me like you got way too many lamps in there.. which will lowers your gpw for sure.. looks like you got a shitload of beautiful strains and will have quite a selection of smoke pretty damn soon..

ill be watching for sure.. happy gardening

Looks awesome, congrats on the new setup and second run....

I'll take a front row seat...

Forgive him Lord , for he know`s not what he says......Perfect amount of lamps/lights per sq ft FTW AKA IME.......

I`m so stoked ta see how happy yer girls are with the cal/mag upgrades Mrk.......purdy bitches...plenty healthy.......now..... with coco......

If calcium uptake is compromised you`re fucked.......It`s the most important factor for all the other micro`s and macro`s the plants need for dialage and explosive growth/swellage when the time comes......

Residual salt buildup`s your next enemy with coco , so getchas some "dripclean" ta handle everything else in the feed cycle once dialed........

Good luck my buddy...DHF.....:ying:....

Aka;

Well...if we use the formula (as I was taught by the good reverend DHF) 50watts per sq ft - I should be running about 3200 watts for my 8x8 flower room so I "think" I am gtg. I am very lucky to have 1) good friends who share their genetics with me 2) and live in an area where I can get just about almost any cut I want if I put the word out, yes I am blesses and I bought the Cheese and a few other strains. (Wait till you guys see my outdoor run heheheh I got a strain from a Dane(Netherlands) I know that is killer)

Thanks for stopping by AKA.

OK question time;

RE> ....Residual salt buildup`s your next enemy with coco , so getchas some "dripclean" ta handle everything else in the feed cycle once dialed........

How do I use the drip-clean as we are hand watering this time? Do you STILL use it even though we are not using the drippers?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid questions but I'm not afraid to admit I do not know everything yet.

Thank you for all your help:).

It`s got nothing ta do with keeping drippers unclogged Bro....

Damn....I`m sorry fer being so vague in my description of what said product actually does for the MAX benefit with coco.....or......Maybe I did and you missed it.......

It attaches itself to the residual ppm`s with each feed cycle , and allows em to be flushed/absorbed instead of with 20% runoff , and or 1/2 strength flushes till ppm`s and ph come into proper levels for dialed results.....

Peace...DHF.....:ying:....

That makes sense, well looks like I gotta get some more shit at the Hydro store...damn crack dealers...lol.

EDIT: Does SM90 do the same thing as Drip-Clean?

Thanks DHF (again)

Thats a good looking stadium you got going congrats.

One small worry I might have is that it looks to me like those ballasts are below plants that need to be watered. which would concern me personally since water and electricity don't mix just my .02

Everyone says to get the Drip-Clean by name... They don't say get that or some clearex. DRIP-CLEAN by H&G. I totally forgot to get mine again... maybe I'll order it online...

Plants look awesome. Congrats on the upgrades. It's totally gonna pay off. Those ballasts aren't blowing hot air at the plants are they? My lumateks don't have fans, and they get pretty warm...

Been usin SM-90 for over 15 yrs for rootzone protection from rootrot in krusty buckets , as well as my ebb and flow buckets , and as a systemic for root borne "critter" prevention in coco.....

Not the same animaL.......Coriander oil diluted....not anything near what drip clean accomplishes....Buy it from the crack dealers ok ?......

1 ml per gal saves yer ass , cuz at that application the shit lasts forever...........believe that........

Peace..DHF....:ying:...

if you would have read my post. i said it looks to me like you got way too many lamps in there.. which will lowers your gpw for sure..

if i state my opinion and yours differs doesnt give you the right to state i dont know what im talking about.. as if you have the prefected everything.. get real.. there are a million different styles and techniques. to each there own. i will not conform. :)

i simply stated the more lamps you have it makes it harder to maximise you gpw.. which is a fact.. if he had shelves up his 8 foot walls i wouldnt have said shit.. but it doesnt look taller than 5 feet of canopy along the walls..

also room size was not stated so i wasnt going off facts i was going by looks.. and the fact ive done 7x8 foot rooms with 2 1k lamps that harvested close to 5lbs on first runs with strains, and no co2. i dont think with the extra 600's at the bottom that i coulda kept the same gpw.. my opinion dont bash it, at least listen take what you want from it and trash the rest, but i dont wanna hear if it tastes good or not, if you dont say it nicely..
and what is FTW AKA IME??

I was looking at that too, and I am concerned about the placement of them UNDER the plants but we are hand watering and carefull once we add one more shelf that area will NOT have a plant over it but I am really limited in space in their and Nextgens don't have any screw holes for me to simply stick it to the wall area(?) I will check temperatures comingout of the fans tonight, I can simply turn them around in the morning so the blow against the Panda.

Ok I'll get Drip-Clean I saw it online already....I sure hope this all pays off cuz I am spending a lot and little is coming in lol!

Wall height is 7' 8"....flower room is close to 8 x 8.

I will have to watch the temperatures carefully and monitor the humidity also, althiough with the huge storms we have been having you can probably see some water still on the concrete floor in the pics that has not dried up yet..so (shrug) I'll get it dialed in.

For now I am going to stick with the 3200 watts, last run on 2K's I got buds but not as tight or as well formed as I have seen previously but I appreciate ALL opinions and think about what everyone offers me...truly.

Peace my brothers....

Room looks good Mrktwiz. How are you collecting the run off from those saucer pans? I am thinking about getting some of the 2 X 4 trays to hold the plants and collect the run off for a shop vac. I am gonna try to set it up this week. I figure if I put it on something that elevates it and has wheels I can put my SoG screen right on tray. I was gonna have 1 tray on each side of the light in an area that has over 5.5 ft. As the plants get bigger I can move the tray back from a light some without affecting the SoG screen. We will see how it goes lol. Nice looking room and good to see more lumens :) .

Put a shelf on the ceiling if you have to. I wouldn't keep ballasts near my plants. Electricity above water. Heat. Too many problems...

Well to be honest their is very little run-off since we now water by hand. When I had the dripper's running we had ALL KINDS of overwatering and spillage, it was a real mess. So we went back to a KISS kinda thinking and it's been fine. When we water by hand we can kinda see and feel how much water each container needs and so far it is SPOT ON so run-off is really not an issue at all now. If I go to a Heath Robinson design I will water using his method and use rain gutters to capture runoff into a reservoir through drainpipe IF I go that way. I am watching Bobblehead's current build also, and I might try to replicate that, but I am not sure he has any runoff since he is (I think) running 5 Gal SmartPot's but I don't know for sure if/how he is capturing any runnoff.

Thanks for stopping by:wave:

I read your post AKA/also known as.......and glad you did well with 56 sq ft and 2000 watts....but.....have you tried 50 per ?....kinda lame ta give advice without ever having run said watts huh ?.....

It`s been proven time and time again for MANY yrs that 50 watts per sq ft will optimize grow areas....guaranteed......and....

I totally understand your thoughts about the more lamps you put in a room , the harder it is to get "more" gpw`s , but again.....

It`s all about balance between watts per sq ft , environment , and plant numbers for dialed conditions IME/in my experience......

Now Mrk.....there`s gotta be somewhere yas can move them ballasts.....those pics didn`t load yesterday on my pore `ol dialup at the farm in podunkville......

A+ on plant health again Bro......Forgot ta say that ebay`s got dripclean the cheapest I`ve seen with free shipping.......

Take care and good luck.....DHF.....:ying:......
