hi there all, a question i cant find the answer to is, i have been battling root rot for awhile now, so if my indoor plants in rockwool have pythium, will the clones i take from them automatically get it, or is it not transferred through cuttings? thanks oz :gday:

Cant get pythium through cuttings to the best of my knowledge. Its a plant parasite/disease that attacks roots and well, new clones have no roots. Did you try H2O2 to try to stop it or is it just too far gone? Good luck, you should have no problems.

thanks majortom9, i know it is a fungal disease and i have it under control now i hope, with confidor and a fungicide, but i have had it for 4 runs now, and am wondering if the mother having it, will the cuttings be weakened and liable to be reinfected easily after repeatedly mother, clone, clone cycle? or do i need to ditch the plants and start again with new seeds? cheers
