....I'm not very worried about the yields on your beans CBF. I know they yield nice dense nuggets...the kind I really enjoy. I have had good success with some other OG related stuff in the yield department.
My experiences with Highend in particular and a few other personal makeshifts are what have made me cautious....not about yield so much...but in slow vegging plants (Highend is infamous for the slow veg).....and H3ad's Gumblebum was super slow for me....more a gut feeling when I get into certain genes. For some reason....OGs and Bubba stuff tend to get my guard up.
I'm more or less deciding which ways I want to go....besides the incrossing I'll do with them....I'll be setting up the outcrosses at the same time.
I've been thinking about the Lemon aspects to be honest.....and also some other stuff I have with the SFV in it.....to give me some foot hold...to me....there is so much about the OG Kush(s) that I love already.....and with all you are doing....I don't want to be redundant but I don't want to get going in an extremely opposite direction either....at least not in the 1st outcrosses.
I'm a logistical thinker at Xs......as I'm often in new waters.....I like to have my ships sailing in the same general direction and at the same speed when it comes to important genetics. I try never to over think.....but proper planning prevents poor performance....and I know this to be true.....plus with a touch of Chaos I seem to find my way.
I promise you this though....I'll have it worked out by the end of Sunday. When I break the beans out of the fridge...I'll know what to do....that's when I'll get serious. I get like this sometimes with beans...I work better under pressure...I have to fuck with myself over it for a little longer. By Sunday shit will going.....I have no fear...no doubts....no worry....

.....yup....you know it...it's getting pretty crazy out there on the trails. It's really getting going now. Just killing it.....I've been a long time runner....but I've never been making these kind of gains so evident and quick. I'm bouncing off shit and pushing hard. Lots of push ups/dips/pull ups.....Indo board to stretch out and balance....things seem different....like I've found an extra amount of compressions and flexibility. I'm moving different.....ripping the shit out of those Vibrams....toes hang out lol....they never answered my E mail on how to make them better.
keen never answered mine to tell them they suck....i have discovered the dtc99 is great cycling weed,your brain just floats along and the legs keep making circles....have another harvest coming up myself,speaking of circles...

This batch started flush 2 days ago....they are at 57....flopping all over themselves....just wonderful stuff...happy go lucky girls with no cultivation issues. They won't be flushed any outdoor but are getting some MH/Fluorescent spectrums sprayed down on them everyday for a few hrs.
The Ma Kettle top....she is a Blue Casey as I predicted (and as her sisterhood are turning into)......fruity lusty fatty...superb bag appeal...melting of Thai genetics is how I like to think of her. She just does her thing...honestly.... easy as pie.
I-HOP Grape Krush top.....fuck man...lol....this is cross is doing it for me...I have her sisterhood turning on the flower studio...pushing the bar up. I'm seeing some Bluing in the meaty flowers...but this isn't dominated by the Grape Krush dads. I'm more than happy with the way they are blending expressions. More fruit...heavy yielder...slammer
here's the Orange BrickHouse top....I had a friend who is going blind smell her up....given no background on her....his heightened sense of objective smell left this impression "sweet oranges".....I'm very pleased....maybe my Hubba Bubba Orange BG is here. She is almost a dead ringer for the Bogbubble mom involved structure wise....now I just want orange transition and a happy gummy high....we'll see.
Did a lot of punishing running this afternoon....decided that I will be using Odessa F2s (Casey Jones X Casey Jones x C99BX) as one of the outcrosses in the upcoming run with the CBF OG Kush work....I'll be using beans from my favorite girl in the Odessa F1 run.....
I'm most interested in using Odessa males on SFV x Ghost X Ghost.....I'm sure I'll come from both directions though. Doubled up Casey Jones with a dash of C99 over top all that OG Kush. I see the structures lining up....I see dips into citrus....and I get to look at Odessa F2s.
After I get those well underway....I'll batch up some more CBF stuff...katsu Bubba X Ghost...with my Muscle Shoals (Blue Moonshine X OG Kush x Blue Satellite 2.2) and see what happens. My instincts are that this will be a more difficult run.
Here is where I have to hit my marks dead nuts. That's just my gut feeling talking...and that is usually accurate. when i mixed the DD with g13haze i somehow got a bubblegum pheno. maybe the sweet dutch grapey g13 catching that sour and fuel...its wildly popular with those that smoke britney. thats her name, fat britney

I took a few pix of the 1st flowered The Crunge....though technically she should be flushing in my OD pit....due to ill favored weather...she has had only a couple days out.....and mostly flushing behind sliding glass. Still she is getting a better light spectrum I feel. Perhaps slowed down as well....most surely...state of limbo at day 64.
Looks remarkably like the mutant Grape Krush female I had (in my albums).....even though all the Grape Krush comes from the male side. I'm giving her rain water...she still is drinking slowly probably due to her lack of direct sun light....kind of just keeping her going along with a couple DDs by a glass door. Slow ripening them until I need them to go. It's like savoring (what you know) will be a delicious meal.

...after having resupplying the hold with genetic cargo I'm making my way back into the currents. I have a very general chart laid out....some experience with my Odessa children naturally....and faith in the work of CBF.
I've never grown straight OG Kush....or even tried to source out any of the numerous cuts circulating around Southern California. I've smoked lots of OG over the years from many different sources. Some were the same....some were not. The best I've smoked was the SFV cut (I believe the source) but the OG Kush label is thrown around like a frisbee out here....
This may sound strange or it may not.....but I think of OG Kush as a lemon Thai influenced plant. That's my 1st reaction.....say Kush all you want and maybe it is in the indica influences....but I will still say lemon Thai weed. It is (they are) a most interesting hybrid.
So 16 of each....I put them up over my fireplace for the evening....to be put in coco in the morning.
**Note: look at the size of the SVF x Ghost X Ghost beans.....as tiny as those that come from some Hazes. Again....my mind drifts toward the sativa aspects spun. Just a feeling....no facts....to anything more. I'll stick with a lemony Thai.
I'm calling this batch of outcross matings "Hell Hound".....the beast I envision constantly chasing me over the trail....as I exorcise the demons within. Ever run for your life? Sometimes....I'll section out a piece of trail...set a distance....and run like the Hound is on me. It gets you through or it doesn't....if that fucker ever corners me....I'm facing him straight on. Can't say I'm looking forward to it...but after you have given all there is to give....fuck it you know?

Thanks Critter...it is a lot of fun and a lot of effort. I'm a hobby gardener....I make beans in lieu of keeping clones and to make stuff for my personal taste in Cannabis....but I've never sold or attempted to sell any of my collection.
After reading some of the drama that goes down in the Canna industry..I'd rather not involve myself in trying to market genetics. I make no claims.....to knowing what the hell I'm doing or that my theories or practices are valid.
There may come a day....if and when I find something credible and different...my Grail day....I'll quit and send my collection out to my friends. I don't envision it ever being for sale however.

Ah dude. Where to start? Your work with the grapek/blue lines has certainly come to fruition those last three look primo can deffo spot the Thai in those spears. Enjoy mon! You should make a Polyhybrid using the crunge back into your proposed sfvxghost^2 and find a recombined fuely lemon blue chunker w bellringing tingling sativa effect
