Anyone know about the strain pineapple?

I guess its some clone only in cali. I had seen crosses of it for a long time, Pineapple trainwreck was pretty popular for a minute. But I had never seen the actual bud.

I had been out of grass again for five or six weeks until my dealer found some, so my tolerance was low when I first smoked it and it blew me out of the water. My tolerance is back but it still impresses me.

The smell truly is pineapple. They are dark little round indica buds covered in red hairs, they almost look like beasters in a bag, but the smell is amazing, and the smoke turns into one of those dry spicy smells that lingers like incense in the room.

It seems very indica in nature, but it has a very up stone and a heady high. I'm curious if anyone knows what it is or has a plant pics of it.

If anyone sees it in a dispensary give it a shot, its good daytime weed.

I know this strain as Pineapple Thai and i believe its also called NorCal Pineapple,it is Real McCoy crossed with skunk #1, I think.I have grown her a few times and I realy like it.She has a sativa growth pattern and an indica type bud structure. She is ready around 9 weeks. She realy does smell like a nice incense fruit mix when burnt.Guess thats from the Thai influence. The smell and taste of this herb supposedly inspired some of the movie Pineapple Express(Gods vagina).Gotta say right now its my fav. morning smoke.Tastes Kinda like synthetic Kool aid pineapple but in agood way.Only other strain I have grown that was as pleasing to the olfactory was DJ Shorts Blueberry and it wasnt as potent.

it sounds like the question is directed towards indica and the strain i have seen called pineapple is more commonly known as nl99. this hyb takes on the aroma and flavor of c99. peace-biteme

pineapple thai. sooooo freakin good. very sugary sweet fruity smell. you wanna call it a pineapple smell, but it is more like a synthetic sweetness, think "UBER SWEET!".

Got the Pineapple clone only flowering out in the big room right now. Dont know how exclusive it is to the Triangle since I got mine in the PNW but def not a big producer and stays relatively short and stout. She does have that sweetest pineapple smell that just lures your nose to her time after time while flowering. Also dont see any Thai influence personally in her since my plant is strictly indica in nature. Dont have an idea on her actual genetics from the source. She has been in and around Ashland/Medford for some years tho. Good luck to all who are searching for her.

I grew a crop of the Norcal pineapple in 2009. Was sativa leaning and REAKED of pineapple. When you smoked it it literally took over the room with a one of a kind smell. When you smelled a glass jar or anything that had the buds stored, it REAKED of the pineapple stench forever. It was a healthy vigorous plant, big stretch and lovely buds. I WANT HER BACK!!!

No indica short stature here, (sorry Rainman!!) this one is very sativa like. keeps stretching thru flower. tied that lady down many times, she keeps reaching for the light.

anyone can give nutrient details on this strain?

i recently up-ed veg+flower (PBP pro) and pine thai wasnt happy. some big fan leaves yellowing, a couple buds getting yellow leaves near them. grapefruit right next it to was soaking it up. finicky? light eater? anyway shes my fave right now.

JOJO420..u r sooo right about the lingering smell. i have OG full melt and grapefuit in a jar with a small piece of pine thai in the bottom. u cant smell anything but pineapple fruity lingerings......... 8 )

Blu - you are referring to the Pineapple Thai and I am referring to the Pinaeapple. Two diff plants and genetics I believe.

I finally just got her back, lost her in '09

Lots of different Pineapples out there but the one I consider to be the real pineapple is the pure Thai plant popular here in the triangle. She grows huge trees of best quality and the smell/taste is so pineapple it seems impossible, even in veg. The high is absolutely fantastic and I still have jars that are stained with the smell of her buds. Last year I got 4 seeds from a friend (could have been S1's I'm not sure), all of them sprouted but I couldn't get them to grow or live, they just stayed as little pure sativa looking sprouts forever and then died.

So I finally have her back and I'm so excited to grow her again this year! :woohoo:

the Eugene Pineapple, as I stated above is a SSH pheno, and she kills it. Big huge pineapple sized colas of sweet awesomeness. It is easy to pull 2 plus per 1000 indoors

xmas tree with thin as can be leaves, sticky, smelly, pure awesomeness
