Thoughts and advice please.. I'm dusty!

Hello all, it's probably been years since I have posted on the forums.
Did some research, and picked up two Raptor hoods, two Quantum series ballasts with 3 year warranty, they can run 1000,600,400, 240 and 120volt,and run MHS and HPS. Also picked up 2 Ushio digital 1000 bulbs.

It just seemed like a good setup and I was able to get a great deal on the Raptors, and everything else was priced decently.

These are meant to replace two 600's. We do expect a small temp increase from the upgrade but nothing we shouldn't be able to handle easily by turning up the inline fan a bit.

I may also try a corner of my room for Coco. Just want to try it.

Well, you already bought them. I wouldn't expect anyone to rain on your parade. This area is more about pre-purchase questions or problems rather than statements on what you've already got.

Try posting pics of your grow in the diaries section so we can see them in action. You're more likely to get responses that way.

Oh, and filter your intakes to kill the dust... ba dum bum, tsssssh!

are your ushio bulbs blue?? if so those are good for veg right before you flip .... running those blue 1000's will beef up the plant... but your gonna want a regular red bulb for flowering ... if that is a blue bulb of course if not ur setup looks great.
