POt size n yields

Hey ya Crew, been round while but been eleswere on other forums n such, but always come back to good ol ICMAG for all my answers.
As this place is great havent need to ask much over last few years as all pretty self explanatory if ya not half a twit

Well anyways i started hand watering coco under a 400 watt mh about 3 or 4 years ago n now have built up my happy happy grow room now up to 4000watts, room size is 3 by 3 meters. And yer i still hand water lol.

Well anyway to my question, have veged for 2 weeks from clone n happily harvested 4 ounces per plant under 600s in 10 liter pots...but my problem here is just got married outs cash cant afford the 500 odd liters of coco i need to repot into 20 or 30 liter buckets........
So can i yiled 6lb from 4000watts with 12 plants in 250mm pots or 8.1 liters

not a real good first post but ive seen worse , i was gonna say i dont know can you !!! but i saw was yer first post, anyway welcome to icmag , all ya need to know about growing this wonderfulplant, my answer is anything is possible, ya seem aweful concerned wit yeild and not quality , the queston doesnt make sense though so yer going down to 8 liters instead of 10 and ya want more yeild?

IMO using an absurdly large container does more for yield than any additive/bloom booster.

HI PPG i,ll bet you can, plants can get bigger then soil in small pots of coco. i got 1/4lb off a 1.5 gall pot .Strain dependant . Just veg the same time and see what happens .I've been try ing the marinaras sea weed how do like their products? price is right any ways . B

Been growing for some time and feel genetics and, mostly, light power as best ways to get yield, thick and dense buds.
I use a combo of 600 and 1000s.

I would say 5 gallon pails are perfect for 4-5 oz < as a matter of fact If u got your shit together I would say 1zip per gallon container is fairly commen rule of the green thumb

6" coco pot average yield - 25g
2gal coco pot best yield - 70g
2gal coco pot average yield - 60g

that's all my experience in coco can offer.

lots of veriables BUT i just pulled just over 1/2lb from a single plant in a 2 gal (just about 8 liter) bag that was not filled all the way so i wouls say it was DAMN close to 8 liters and it was coco. this is ChemD and here are pre flip and post flip pictures. this took some training it was under a trellis so i was able to open the middle right up.

that was around a 2 month veg i believe but it may have been even more. you will have to train the shit out of your plants and run some good yielding strains and gets lots of tops up there and trim those bottoms up to even think of pulling those kind of numbers in quality bud in my experiences.

How many inches would you say that plant grew since starting flowering to finish?

Agreed, Soil plants tasting better is a myth...
