Cuttings and Nutes

Does anyone use nutes on fresh cuttings in rockwool cubes?

If so, what level do you set the EC at?

use a very low ec , around 0.6

try not to let them dry out too much or try using peat pellets

very weak root boooster/rhizotonic always helps them on there way i find

I use the same on cuts as i do on vegging plants 2ml per litre E.C at about 1.3...I only treat seedlings differently...Peace

Just in the process of sorting out 3 x cheese plants that someone donated - not looking too great but I'll sort them out

Once they're looking a bit better I'll take some clones and change them over the NFT - at the moment they are in coco;

I used to grow a few years back but a bit rusty re: sensible ec's etc...I always used to grow NFT - this coco is new shizzle to me..

I use jiffy 7's and tap water straight out the tap to root clones some times bottled water or RO, when their rooted I pot up into 1ltr size pots of soil and feed with rhizotonic if you fancey for a few weeks at ph 6.0/6.3 its not important then water all the way if you need to use plant food on a weed you can but it doesn't need it at all,,,, doesn't get any cheaper/easier guys and gals!!


A box of 1000 jiffy's is around £60/75 or £5/7 a bag of 50,, and good soil is £10/15 a bag or £270/350 a pallet,,, Grow it out FAT!!!
