was an all time Favorite.........Then the new hybrids from SSSC in 1986/87 Durbanthaihighflier...Wow! Still have the original pak of seeds
that was ordered back then, they are real small, tried to sprout old seeds,the best method so far is tap water and a couple drops of peroxide, Put on top of fridge in the back, so the warm air
keeps things nice and WAIT!!! also it likes 12 hrs light during veg, the Durban side has shortened the flowering time of the Thai side, then trigger it with 11hrs light for bloom......Those foxtails of Thai strains were tied with hemp string to bamboo sticks, then dipped in rinse water, we know what was in that water??? Also,some
were not dipped, that was some good "Electric Thai" It made you a
face.......LOL!!!! Peace!

I started 3 seeds of Sativa Seedbank's Full Moon 12 days ago. All 3 sprouted in less than 12 hours and are vigorous growers with serious stretch. So far so good.
It's supposed to be pure Thai, perhaps heavily selected - it looks quite wide-leaf and chunky on photos. I decided to give it a try because I've had only good results with Sativa Seedbank's seeds.

Hi all......As Bigherb said I am currently growing Gypsy's Thai stick and his Laos, but I also have 2 females and 1 male from WOS Wild Thai.
These at first made me think they werent much at all, but during the last few months they have really come on.
I had the same problem with Germination rates and I agree they are possibly old seeds.
I have not really taken any decent pics of this strain, but seeing a bit of interest has been shown, I will get on to it.
They are definetly a earlier flowering Thai, but I also had a very early flowering male from my Laos stock, which i will work with to bring the flowering time down on the Thai stick and Laos......anyway Ill get the pics up soon and then follow up with a report later.
Good luck with the Golden Tiger, I know they came from good Thai stock and look awesome grown outdoors.

my buddy grows it takes forever to flower.but the high is very uplifting felt like my shoulders were being lifted from my body.the very opposite from indicas ive been smoking which make my back hurt from the downing effects.

Picked up an 1/8th of "Wild Thai" at a Sac dispensary. It is always hard to know for sure, but they certainly weren't hyping it. The club owner (not the bud tender) said that it was from WoS.

It didn't look anything like the amazing pic above, which looks like a pure sativa. It is decently airy though, so it probably has a high sativa %. It smoked like a sativa - very smooth. Faint lemon incense smell. After smoking, the incense smell gets stronger. The incense reminds me a bit of Kali Mist. The bud was fairly low in tric coverage, but obviously not keifed. I would guess that it didn't run longer than 80 days

Here's the kicker (and why I bothered to post at all): The high has a lot of what we are looking for in a Thai! It is very potent with a creeper vibe that creeps up fast. I find that creeper high weed has less of that nitrous-like headrush thing. It is very up and the up lasts a good 2hrs. Hours 2-4 are a bit more mellow, but not all fuzzy and stony mellow. I was truly still high at hour 3.5.

I think that psychedelic is hard to define and examine. I generally attribute it to weed that makes you super ADD. I find it is like an extreme openness to explore new things. It can be hard to deal with, but I usually mange to by having a plan for whatever high activity I plan out while sober. I keep my options limited to keep me from jumping around from thing to thing. As soon as I set down the bong, my guitar/bike/movie/hike/whatever is ready to go. I find this condition to have a lot of time distortion as well. So, if you'd call that psychedelic, then this weed has that quality.

Has anyone picked these beans up recently and got them to germ?

Who was that one breeder who worked almost exclusively with Thai's? I believe he may have passed on, RIP...

I do remember smoking one of those strains, don't remember which, but he made Thaitanic and another one called Heavenly (think that's what I somked..) and a bunch of other Thai strains and hybrids.
