thanks! maybe some sidexsides would be good...im using roots organic soil this time around and ive encountered a couple problems i didnt encounter with fox farm ocean forest, basically this weird deficiency where there are brown spots and yellowing leaves, it looks cal/mag related but also could be a phosphorous def which would be odd considering the nutes im using. im gonna switch back to the ff soil and switch my nutes so hopefully it will make a difference. and i was gonna do 3 gallon smart pots side by side with 5 gallon regular pots, but ive decided to just do all 3 gallon smart pots. im gonna definitely do a sidexside with the cherry ak47 clones i just took, do em all in smart pots but 5 with the lucas formula, and 5 with the nutes im using now. which is the ff line, im also gonna actually start following a feeding schedule so that should make a HUGE difference...im gonna keep a mother of the c-99, church, white widow and cherry ak47 and hopefully should have everything dialed in for when im doin a grow of clones off of them.

Have you checked your run off ph? Sounds more like a lak of p due to lock out maybe. Since you are using the roots organic that along with the ff nutes you should not be having a problem with cal/mag.
I ran a few grows with ff grow big and tiger bloom. (i use pormix bx) and had okay results. Now that I switched to GH nutes even going by the GH schedule I out did the ff stuff.
For the problem you are having I would start with checking the ph run off and then do a good flush and see if it changes in the run off ph. I stumbled around for years trying to fix problems and have decided that ph has been the culprit most of the time. You may have done this already

just checked the runoff and it was at 6.0 is this too acidic for soil?

I didn't notice what type of water you are using. Unless it is ro water you should not have to cal/mag. What was the ph going in? 6 is a lil low for soil run off. That could be the problem. Should be closer to 6.5 run off. You may need to add a lil lime to your soil mix. Here is a nute uptake chart that was passed along to me by Justin Credible. Note where the p and cal/mag uptake are on the ph scale. Your 6.0 ph is to low to up take these nutes. Hope this helps

wow that definitely helps according to this chart my plants are hardly taking up any nutes at all! im gonna be transplanting them into the smart pots tomorrow, ill be sure to add some lime and raise the pH of the water im giving them theyre looking waaay better than they did a couple days back though, theyve all perked up and are startin to stretch a little. and there are some nice fat stalks on these puppies too

thanks drifter! ok little update, the seedlings are looking fantastic ! theyre really starting to take off...and i just transplanted the cherry ak47s into 3-gallon smart pots. i woke up this morning and found fungus gnats on one of em so i threw some diatomacious earth on top of the soil and hit em with some neem oil. hopefully it will keep em at bay...and today is day 1 of the lucas formula . transplanted with ff ocean forest with some added perlite and lime, and changed the pH of the water im giving them to 6.8 so well see how well it works out.

hey! quick update:
the flowering room is finally filling up, the lucas formula is working fucking fantastically, no deficiencies or anything, watering with pH 6.8 water, and at 900ppm on the nutes.

The veg tent is looking pretty nice too, i transplanted all the seedlings into 1 gallon containers 6 days ago, and theyve exploded since. i transferred the 4 random seeds i had to the flowering room, theyre starting to bud so i think they may be an autoflowering strain? anyways all the seedlings are about 7" tall and growing every day. will transfer the others (save the ones chosen as mothers) when they are sexed. so far they are all 27 days old and only the randoms have shown sex.

Cool set up you got there. How long were the seedlings in the flowering room before they started to flower? Some strains are quicker to take to the flowering cycle than others. Good luck!

the four random seedlings were actually still in the veg tent when they started to flower...thats why i think theyre autoflowering, or theyre just some really messed up seeds. i dont know...either way im still gonna put it in the bong

plants are doing great just moved the seedlings into the flower room, except 2 of the church kush and one of the white widow. they will remain as mothers (except one of the church ive got outdoor plans for her) and im waiting for the c-99 to show sex before i select the mother. and the cherry ak47s are getting big, these smart pots make a huge difference im noticing growth every day!!!

hi there! the fungus gnats hit again today, in full force...heavy spraying of neem solution and diatemaceous earth all around! besides that, all the seedlings are really filling in. and the cherry ak47s are at day 21 and the buds are just huge! ive never had bud development this quickly before...these smart pots are the shit! and i took 6 church kush clones and 4 WW clones, 8 of 10 of the cherry ak47 clones survived, and i planted 10 707 headband seeds as well, but those are gonna be outdoor

hoping for at least 2 lbs combined off what i have going now...what do you guys think?

well, im having a real problem with these fungus gnats, i went out today and bought a bunch of mosquito dunks...people on here seem to think they work so what the hell? the plants are doing good, except for one of the cherry ak47s, it got hit real hard by the little winged fuckers. 4 of the c99s turned out to be male, they got banished to the back deck, but all the seedlings are nearing the end of their stretch, theyre gettin reeeeaaal big!! im thinking about chopping this cherry ak tho...what do you guys think? its just not frosting up at all and it seems like its dying. but the buds are getting huge, especially for 4 weeks in.
