For Serious Joint Smokers Buying Rolling Papers in Bulk is Way Cheaper

I smoke a lot of joints which gets expensive @ $2.75 per pack, so I found the best way to save money and have the best quality paper is to order bulk on the internet. I just scored a case of Hempires 25 packs (50 leafs) for 40$ shipped to my door, which saves me about $1.10 + tax per pack and these packs are double the amount of papers that come in my zig zags so that's even more of a savings. Im a happy camper and now have atleast a years worth of joints to look forward to.

I should mention, pretty much all brands can be bought in bulk at discount prices.

I buy cases and multipacks of papers on Ebay. It comes out to a fraction of what the stuff costs retail.

You know it seems every time I buy papers at the local gas station peeps in line make always make comments, or suddenly become R.P experts. I try to keep a low profile myself, and I don't want peeps at the gas station by my house to know how much weed I smoke, especially since I'd be buying papers a couple of times a week. It's kind of a dead give away too because I usually buy ZZ ultra thins and who the hell rolls tobacco in UT papers. This is pretty much what lead me to seek out other alternatives, plus f*ck gas station prices. Im happy this thread could be of service

Rolling papers are still less than a dollar a pack where I'm from, but buying in bulk and getting them shipped right to your door is still very nice. I'll look into it, thanks.

I use to buy boxes of them years ago .... till i got a whole box of papers with defective glue. You can bite the edge and get a rough edge then lick and they will stick... but thats not what i bought .. havent bought in bulk like that since. At the time i was using the black pack "Smoking" papers... now i prefer the "Raw" unbleached

I can get packs of "JOB" papers for 99 cents but they taste like shit, and ruin good weed. Im kind of a paper snob, I love smoking joints but hate nasty tasting papers. ZZ ultra thins smoke clean but often times dont burn evenly so they dont make the cut.

Not many papers are available locally, pretty much just JOB, zig zag and EZ wider which are junk too.

Id have to agree, even though I have never bought a case of papers, it is truly the only way to buy high quality papers, especially if the stores near you only carry Zig Zag's (gross).

This way its not a special trip just to get ONE pack of papers, and the dude at the store is always saying "what are you buying those for" haha.

But ya, sound advice, buy a box of papers next time, and pick a high quality brand while your at it. A box probably lasts a year atleast.

edit: Im also a big Raw enthusiast, my favorite by far, OCB is a good brand too

Not only is there the savings but also you're less likely to have that moment where you go to buy your usual brad at the store and they're sold out and either you have to go somewhere else or buy some crappy brand that nobody buys and has been on the shelf for 3 years.

You: <cough><cough> No I buy these because I'm unable to kick my tobacco habit, can't afford to buy the manufactured cigarettes and so I figure if I roll my own with UT's then it's gotta be better for me then using some more traditional paper for rolling tobacco.

Of course I would prefer something simple like:

Me: Mind you're own business.

Then again I've never been in this situation as people don't usually stick their noses in my business like that.

I also use elements so I can roll two diff colors... raws and elements ... so I can carry a cpl flavors and easily tell them apart. Reason I dont normally buy the 300 packs is it seems the edges end up curled.

The price difference was insane, but the fact that I no longer have to buy smoking expendables in front of people is even better. For the price of about 5 packs from the head shop, I got an obscene amount of Hempire single-wides & had enough left over for a boatload of Elements tips.

Been using the lightweight Silver Rizzlas up until now, but I'm gonna go with Iron_Lion's Hempire recommendation and see how they taste. . .

Im happy this thread was helpful for you. I think you will be happy with the hempire papers. Im a joint connoisseur and am very picky when it comes to papers and the Hempires suit my needs. I find absolutely no yucky taste from these which makes me happy, smoke a zig zag orange after smoking these and its like smoking a joint rolled in computer paper

I no have such a large supply of papers I find myself smoking way more joints than before. I got 1260 papers for 42 bucks, cant beat that.

It was the girl at the store tellin me over and over.....you need to just buy these by the case.So i did.....then i saw how much more $ i was saving getting them by the case.BIG DIFFERENCE!!A case lasts about 4 1/2 months for me.


Babbabud i like that idea of the colored wraps to be able to tell stuff apart.I always have to put 1 in this and 1 in that when i go places and half the time that don't work either with a stoner memory like mine.
