Day 25:



Twerked the camera settings a bit for these photos.

Stretch is slowing down and bud sites are coming up. The #9 girl in the middle stretched more than the rest, so I pinched and bent some of the stems. She also still has a bit of a mg issue, while the two other #9's are looking better. I'm thinking of feeding these separately from the Mob Boss's. The mix would be slightly stronger and have another tsp of Espom salt.

No problems at all with the MB's.

Boo, still having some issues with one of the C99's. I think 1tsp of Epsom salt per gallon may have been too much and, while the Mob Bosses all still look great, perhaps this was too much for the C99's. In addition to the added tsp per gallon in feeding, I foliar sprayed the one in the middle that looked the worst.

I'm going to stop feeding with epsom for the moment.

So I overreacted a bit. That whole deficiency thing turned out to be light bleaching. Smooth sailing otherwise.

Started adding pk 13/14 a few days ago at 1/2 tsp per gallon.

Hey Gsizzle. I think each of the Mob Bosses this round have more Tang Tang influence. Lots of purple in the stems and closer node spacing.

I popped a few F2's myself cause of this thread only about a week old. Gonna pop a quite a few more soon. I actually see the split in the genetics with the F2's. Some of the leaves are more fat and rounded. Some are more on the sharp pointed side. Seems the F1 gave almost a more perfect blend of both lines. I see you are favoring the Tang side. Does she give you a sativa type buzz? Good work keep it rolling......

The Tang Tang definitely adds a touch more head and energy, but not too much. The flavors and bud/plant structure are my main reasons for preferring the Tang side. They don't stretch quite as much and the nodes tend to be closer together vs. clusters of golf ball nugs.

Well, those 2 HUGE c99 tips have been cut down a bit. Found some bud rot, but this doesn't surprise me too much considering they were thicker than a clenched fist.

Pistols are slowly turning brown on all the Mob Boss girls. They should be fattening up shortly.

Calimed, lookin good but looks like tha leaves are tacoing out a bit, maybe back off tha pk a lil. May have contributed to losing tha C99 tops. Question..... what's yer temp and rh?

Buttrekka, nice finish on them ladies, and as Cali had stated, tha Tang Tang lends that killer color to tha offspring. Let us know how they smoke. Hype that shit in other areas on tha forum/s, I need tha GrindHouse squad's support and contributions of pics, reports and such to shake this place like mutha fuggin' Japan. (May God have mercy on tha people and souls of Japan)

Hey buttyrekka, thanks for stopping by! Those Mob Boss girls look great! She is a real keeper, especially with the Tang Tang influence.

Great catch Steele. I agree and think I ran the pk 13/14 about a week too long. I also need to address a hot spot in the tent just under the lamp. The past several grows, I've had canoed leaves in the center of the tent beneath the bulb. I just bought a new fan to blow over the top of the canopy and plan on picking up something soon for the light. All airflow for the bulb is by the intake being lower than the exhaust... hehe.

The Mob Bosses are starting to fatten up. It is easy to see that they have almost twice the trichrome coverage of the C99's.

I really wonder why Mob Boss isn't picking up more. These beans are genuine quality. Every single pheno I've grown out has been some of the frostiest bud that chills you out with an all over cerebral and body vibe. I've had paranoia sensitive patients try this strain with extremely positive results. The more I pop these beans, the more time I know I will spend developing the line.

I just got a new meter that tell's rh, I'll update with the temp/rh next post.

C99xHighland Thai (Item #9):



MB's are getting shiny and bulking up more. They don't tend to fatten up until closer to the end of the cycle. No more bud rot from the C99's.

I put a humidity meter (Caliber III) in the tent and it read an average of 48%...but I think this meter works better in small spaces.

Current Feedings per gallon:

10ml A+B
2ml Rhizotonic
10ml Cannazym
~1/2ml Drip Clean

I stopped using Floralicious a couple weeks ago. If I let the solution sit around for long, it'd get milky flakes everywhere. It didn't seem to bother the plants much, but looked weird to me.

There is a notable difference from using not using boost. The different transitional stages of flowering have been extended.
