Mold...please help

I looked at my plants yesterday afternoon and they were fine...all the preflowers were forming...just looked at them and some leaves have a powdery substance on them....looks like mold. The wierd thing is my RH is between 16%-25% and my temp is between 68-82. What can i do. First time this happened, i didnt expect to get mold bc my RH is so low, so i never did much research on it...any help much appreciated

.....in the same room i have my G13 about 2 weeks away from harvest and i def dont want it to get ruined from the other 3 plants...

a bandaid is to mist them with milk.

at least that is what i was told.

using an ozone generator will kill mold and mildew, and eliminate your odors
all at the same time. I know they are not popular, but they work. downside is
they are expensive.

good luck with your problem, some really smart member will be along shortly to assist you.

Thanks i have been doing some research for the past 2 hours...I cut the infected leaves out and then sprayed the plant with neem oil...i will be continuely be using neem oil often...

check out krunchberry's thread about eagle 20...shit works
but only use in veg
if you are just gettin started buddin ditch them...finish your g13 then clean everything with 10;1 bleach then throw in some new veggies that have been eagle20ed

I like your call on what you've already done Seaking. Neem should keep it in check. Alernate with milk as mildew will build a resistance. Post some pics which would help greatly.
With your RH I'm surprised PM would take hold, however it is systemic so if you purchased clones they may of already had it.

Also, if your intake should have some filtration on it to help prevent such problems.

Definitely bleach your room after harvest as another member suggested.

If your only 15 days into flower, "I Would" (but that's me) not hesitate to use Eagle 20 if I had more than 15 plants. I'd have to check my MSDA but I believe it goes inert after about 14 days. I know the hippies here would shoot me, but hey, that's science.

Good luck. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. But another saying goes, shit happens.

EDIT: Ebay has E20 in small bottles cheap. If you only have 8-10 plants keep with neem, can remove infected leaves.

Update on my girls. So I cut the leafs that were infected with the powder and sprayed a good amount of neem oil mixed with water on the plants last night. Just checked on them now and a few more leaves have the powder, not like yesterday but its still there. Im a little worried about my g13 thats 2 weeks away from harvest.
How often should i spray it with neem oil...daily? everyother day? Should i just remove the 3 plants that have them?

The wierd thing is that these plants are clones from my first batch which didnt have any problems.

The only reason i can come up with why i got pm with my humidity so low is that i dont have air circuation in the room...Im going to put a fan in there once my g13 is done and im also going to clean out the room with bleach. Its a closet grow so I have a blacklight curtain so the light dosent show through the cracks of the door trim...On the inside of that curtain are small black dots that have been there for well over 2 months....im guessing that may be part of it too.

Damn man. Get a little fan in there and circulate the air or you could loose em all.

If you get it circulating and use neem once or twice then you will probably whip it.

Hey, man. My last crop had a pretty big case of powder mold due to ineffective circulation, so I feel your pain. NEVER gonna make that mistake again. Ventilation and circulation are essential.

I know you're not going to like what I'm about to tell you, but honestly, imho you should toss the plants. Odds are, you're not going to be able to save them. When I was in your position, I tried neem oil, organic milk, sulfer burners, H202, the whole shabang. Those solutions would get rid of the mold temporarily on most leaves, but then it would just come back within the week. AND since the mold is systemic, it's already infected your plants, so even though you can't SEE the mold after treatment, it's still going to be there.

After battling the mold for the last month+ of flowering, I wished I had just started over when I saw the first signs of it.

Before I started again, I made sure to buy some Eagle 20 and totally submerged my new clones in a diluted mixture. They have been perfectly mold free so far. Basically, Eagle 20 is the shit. haha

Once you get better circulation (intake, exhaust, circulating fan) and dose your new plants with Eagle 20, you should be good to grow. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Hope everything works out for you though!

Slightly off topic question, but regarding mold. IF you happen to smoke herb with mold, what are the usual symptons one would have after smoking it?

I had dirty clones, with some PM. I eagle 20d that shit, and have not seen it since. But im just curious about the effects on ones health if ingested.

I think BigDaddy summed it all up, which is why I went slightly off topic.

I figure ill give you guys an update...I ended up tossing 2 of the 3 that were infected with PM. One wasnt too bad. Ive been doing alot of research on it and found Spectracide (insect and disease control) works well at removing PM. I just sprayed the one remaining with a little PM. I ll keep you poasted on the outcome.

Obviously i posted my last past without reading the prior 2.

I hate to say it also but I think your right big daddy

TD 27....I was wondering the same myself....from what Ive read if you smoke bud that has some mold its not good for your lungs and heart. But what about buds that had some PM and then they were treated and are no longer visable
