how many tubs? and how long and the size ur lines are also factors in the pump size. i prefer to run my pumps inline it keeps the nutes a bit cooler allowin the chiller to work less. i would check out uc systems there website has a blueprint and info that will help ya alot http://www.cch2o.com/ use that as a base and adjust shit to ur needs.
I plan on growing trees 2 plus lbs each. I will have 4 plants each in a 17 gallon tub with a 27 to 50 gallon res. I want to have a top feed and an rdwc. I plan on placing the plants in a square format. What are some suggestions for inline pumps? Sizes of PVC, fittings, and shut off valves?
u got some real high hopes bro 2lbs per plant is doable but not easy at all for an experianced hydro grower with the right strain and a 6+month veg. but it sounds like ya really dont have a clue about this shit by the ????s... u really need to read alot check out dgs thread or blaze's...

ur gonna need a mag drive pump 750 would be good u may getaway with the 500 u could run 1/2in feed to 1/4splitters with 4/3 return like most or 1/2in feed and 1in return.. or ya can do uc and use 3in pipes and no feedlines. i wouldnt set such high goals on urself till ya get used to the system. best of luck . im out

I truly appreciate your advice. Been using waterfarm for 2 years and upgraded it. I couldn't switch to RDWC because I didn't have the space. Now I have the space and I would like to add more DO and circulation of nutes. I think ? I get the concept I think wat I don't understand is how to find the parts seals, pipes, glue, pumps etc...and how to put together the system.
Been in horiculture program in college 2 years and have vegged plants 60 days and yielded 15 ounces sharing a 600 hps with another plant.
Under 2 600hps yielded 1.75 pounds of white russian. I see no reason why I cannot increase yield to 2lbs per plant as long as the strain can handle it.

yo 41... how much u getting per waterfarm bucket?? how much light??
we b using the farms, have 24buckets, 3k of switchable mh/hps, and are def 'not' the best of growers... we average about 4 oz per bucket.. veggin clones about 3 weeks, growing mostly rez's beans, pick em around 65days, tho the sdibl we go 70/72 days..

I'm yielded 3 to 4 oz per waterfarm. I switched to 10 gallon tubs 4 under 2 600's. Lost one plant a month into flower cause the stem broke thats what I get for not using silca.
I really want to know what are the best pumps, seals or bulk head fitting, shut off valves, and pvc with fittings. Also suggestions for size of pvc.
