Looking around for some kind of humidity controller that will control both up and down in one box automatically. Is there such a thing? I see a few pieces like the CAP HUM1 that has two outlets, one for humidifier and one for dehumidifier but they do not work independently. Only one can be hooked up. Then there are others with a manual switch but that doesnt help either. I want something automated.

So any humidity controllers that will independently control each piece of equipment to keep the 50% rh target?? Just humidity. Thanks in advance.

@Itstime I think that igs company makes once for 200$ and a 10 foot sensor

@growshop Do you know if they make one to run on 120v? That model is 220v
how would you connect that to a dehumidifier.

Yeah that piece is interesting but it's not anywhere close to plug and play and of course 220v power isn't very friendly for something like that.

Seems like an automated humidity controller would be something very basic.

Unless you are in a micro cabinet, I don't see any advantage to having a single control box.
Looking at the diagram of that ebay device, the output is a typical SPDT so I don't think a single unit will do what you want.
If you are worried about the dehumidifier and humidifier operating at the same time, you could wire up (or buy) interlock relays.

A home controller like the Honeywell DG115EZIAQ does both but the output is 24VAC so . . . I haven't seen any plug-n-play solutions.

I guess Ill just set up separate timers for hum and dehum until plants are big enough to control raise hum all by themselves.
