Crop was SEEDED!!! Your Advice Please...

Hi IC,
So here's the deal... I just finished up with a run using cuts from mothers which came from 3 year old Reeferman Hashplant seeds.

I sexed out the males and continued forward with the females and in going through it right now the whole F-------ing thing was seeded to crap.

So my situation is that now I am literally having to go through piece by piece and take out as many seeds as possible before the herb gets to the patients.

MY QUESTION IS THIS:

If quite literally every Hashplant in the room was seeded and the other plants in the room (Chem x Grapefruit) were not then obviously I have hermie genes with the HP's right?

The reason I ask is that I have about 24 of the HP's ready to go into flowering right now ( about 18" tall from the top of the 3 gallon bucket) and I am seriously thinking about killing them all and cutting my losses short with this strain.

The downside is that I lose the time but on the upside I don't take the chance on these going hermi again on me.

And YES, there was a screw up in the lighting cycle (leakage) but no, it did not affect the other plants.

i would say the mom has gone bad. The fact that it is strain specific, and that you say they were seeded to Crap. That is a pretty good sign it had nothing to do with a light cycle interuption or leak. I cant speak from experience, but i have heard that a mom can go bad and start putting out hermie kids. Just my two cents.

only way to tell what is what is to inspect the plants for some open balls or nanners. may see them on the floor. how long has the crop been in? for you to see seeds i would imagine they were pollinated a few weeks ago. the smoke will be fine. i would just discount the crop to the patients for the "inconvenience" of having some seeds in there.

This crop was taken from a set of 3 mothers: HP1, HP3, HP4 (All seeds from the same HP order) which were the clones from the original seeds which I grew big enough to throw of some clones... And all of them were seeded.

I think I will have to just bite the bullet and destroy the plants... DAMN IT!

You guys think this is the best course of action?

went through something similar....popped a bunch of unknown crosses last year from friends....first round saw hermies on 25% of plants, the hermies managed to pollinated everything. i let them run anyways...harvested good smoke just had seeds. made sure all those seeds were packed away for seed bombs or some guerilla grow...but they were tossed from the keeper pool.


anyways...i had a whole bunch of cuts from the hermie crosses. i had like 30 plants in veg about to flower, i didnt want to kill the plants. so i said Fuck it and flowered them again.....once again got a seeded crop albiet this time i managed to cull the hermies quick. so less seeds next round but still good smoke and found a real nice non hermy pheno that i would have lost..

and this was before i was cash cropping so i was smoking the whole harvest....if you gotta sell the crop to pay bills then kill everything ASAP and start from scratch....i finally did that after two seeded hermie runs because i had bills to pay! seeded weed aint worth shit...without seeds my smokes worth 50 an 8th easy but i was offing zones for 50 an OZ to help pay electrical of the seeded....real bad margins if you keep pollinating shit.

seeded lbs still pull in $1500 as really good "mids". and the OP said this was for patients... why would they care about picking a few seeds out of their meds? the smoke is the same...

Maybe I am crazy but I vote dump the extra plants and make hash out of the seeded crap. I would be pissed if I got seeded pot from a dispensary. I guess if it were discounted, but I only enjoy top grade meds. Just my two cents.

Just discount the herb and save the seeds. Some of the most potent herb I have smoked has been seeded. Something about seeded herb that seems to have a broader spectrum high. It is a hassle to smoke though.

my seeded weed is better than most non-seeded weed but it doesnt matter...marketing and saleswise...any kind of seeds hurts value by 50% its like having a salvage title on your car.

i had to sell quarters for 40 bucks when my OG got accidently seeded, my seeded bubblegum dumped that for 50 an oz because it was chock full, had hundreds per oz...happy for the customer but not so happy for me! plus they still complained even though i told them..."go online and find kush seeds it will cost you 150 bucks for 10...."
