pre-flower or plant males?

hey, my plan was to identify the females vegging indoors (18 hours HPS), then planing out the females. I was unsure of how long it might take to show preflowers on HFH 'danish passion' & 'danish cheese' ?
Would about a month indoors be about right?
Or would it be wiser to plant them all after a couple of weeks?

In my experience it usually takes about 5 to 6 weeks before pistils or balls start showing.

I was gonna plant my unsex plants in smartpots until sex is determined then I will transplant resulting females into my big "super soil" holes. Femmed seed plants and clones will be put in the big holes from jumpstreet. I'm expecting to have everything identified by middle or late may. Good luck and take care 1
