Transplanting a big plant

Hey all.
Newbie here. I've got some white rhino plants in week 3 of veg.
Turns out I haven't used the right soil and compost.
They are about 1 foot tall.
The pots they are in are 3 gallons. I'm wondering. How can I transplant them safely into a bigger pot without damaging the plants?

I looked at some tutorials and videos but that was from small pots and I already know how to do that.

Cheers.:tiphat:

Exactly the same just with greater caution, What I usuaully do is run the roots through luke warm water and I try my utmost not to break any but dont stress to much this will happen as we cannot all have the touch of the Gods,

Rinse the majority of the advetitious roots and you will feel the plant should keep a ball near the top of the tap root, obviously your pots were prepared, get someone to help dangle the adventitious roots and slowly add soil/pro mix/media and try get the roots as spread out as they were in smaller pots and obviously this is all in context, once your plant is standing firm run some prepared water (ph correct/if organic just add water, and use this water to rinse the plant as well.) and thats it really, well at least thats what i do.

Namaste :joint:

That is the typical transplant time for me anyway. There really should not be an issue.

If they are 3 weeks and 1 foot high then the soil wasn't doing a lot wrong in reality. Therefore I woudl just pot up without worrying of removing it all personally.

Put your flat hand on the soil with the stem between your fingers and tip the pot upside down. Do it when soil is moist, not just watered and not too dry and the soil will stay together.

After transplants I often use a root booster (canna rhizhotnic, bio of course) which can help negate any transplant shock.

Just water well the day before transplant so the the rootball stays intact and releases from the container without tearing the roots. Transplant as usual.

Peace...
