4x8 Tent

Hello fellow IcMagers....Iam a new member but have been lurking for awhile trying to "borrow" as many setups features as I can. I am a new LEGAL MMJ farmer. Im in my 3rd week of 12/12 and so far things are going okay."Knock on Wood"
Im trying to set up my tent to run as efficient as possible w/ the equipment that I have. I have a 4x8 tent inside a spare bedroom. 1-1k HPS Mag. Ballast w/ Horticulture bulb. I have a 5ft 10'' Carbon Scrubber in the corner w/ a 8'' Valuline fan attatched to it. That Fan sucks thru the filter, thru the lights out the tent and then out the window. I have a seperate 6'' Aerotech fan that I'm using as a intake fan that pulls fresh air from outside. I have ran the fresh air directly into the tent and just into the bedroom??? not sure what way is best?
I feel like my humidity should be a lower. I average about 55-65%. I want like to see it at 45-55%??? My temps stay at about 73 lights on and like 68-70 lights off. Lights on at night.
My question is would my tent run better if I bypass the hood? Would the heat from the lamp kill some of my Humidity? I do have an extra 6'' Can fan and an extra 2ft 6'' carbon filter. Oh yeah plants are about 2.5 ft tall and are about 17'' away from the light.

Thank you

Damn No one has any Idea's? Oh well Thanks. Last night I raised the temp for when the lights on to about 75. That seemed to bring the humidity down from 65% down to 55%. Still not sure if I should have my intake fan blowing straight into the tent or into the room and let the tent passively suck the air in thru the vents?
It seems when I duct the fresh air directly into the tent the Humidity starts to jump. Maybe because the air is so cold makes the exhaust fan turn off due to it being hooked up to a thermostat. then there is no more air being removed from the room...Well today I get my portable AC. I only need to run during lights off, and only need it drop my temps about 10-5 degrees, and the built in de-humidifier should be an added bonus.

I would just leave it alone sounds fine to me don't make problems for ya self...

Humidity is ok for now but in the next week or 2 you might want to get a dehumidifier to drop that rh down, other than that lights on and off temp are fine

Good luck with the grow any pic's?

I want to post some pic's badly. Lost my Camera Long story. But im in the 3rd week of flower. In coco, I had to defoliate numerous times. Plants are pushing close to 3 feet. Clones are grape ape. Laylow thank you for your support. I will post some pic's tonight. i think for my first grow it is coming out great. I have a friend who does Hydro, been doing it for a few years. he seen what Iam doing with coco and he is switching to coco his next run. I must be doing something right? or CoCo is that easy?

As long as you follow the rules it is easy!

For new growers I tell them a set few things and tell them to stick to it

get your PH in-between 5.8 and 6.2
get your ec between 1.2 and 1.8
get you temp between 70 and 80 lights on and only a 10deg drop at night
get your humidity as high as you can until the 4th week of flower then as low as pos....

If you do the above and don't cheat, not even once you will grow good weed! easy ;)

Yeah I keep my PH at 5.8 during every feeding...PPm's are never over 1100. The only dis concerning part is my run off. PH run off is perfect but the ppm's is always higher coming out then going in? I'm using many different nutes....CNS17-grow, Liquid karma, Bcuzz Root, Beastie Bloomz, Big Bud, Pirahna, Pure Blend, Canna Boost, PK13/14, H&G-A&B, CalMag, and cha ching. Right now i'm only using H&G, LK, Calmag, Boost, Beatie Bloomz and the pure blend. But I think the pure blend and the LK are almost the same thing?

Laylow honestly thank you for taking time to read my post and respond. I really appreciate it. Good karma and a great harvest will be coming your way!

Just my two copper-clads, but I'd start off with a simplified nute regimen myself.
I wouldn't worry about the drain ppm but I've no experience with coco.

Honesly dude drop your ppm as your plants really don't need it that high and your just wasting you food and money and potentially harming your harvest

I never worrie about runoff ph and ppm but if your is coming out higher your plants are not eating as much as they are drinking, you said it! Don't drive your self mad just lower you ppm and all will be cool

Also calmag is a product used if you have a deficiency or a preventive so you don't need to use it all the time not sure if you are or not just you said you are using it now and if you are using h&g cocos A and B as long as you don't let the plants get lock out you shouldn't need calmag at all if anything coco holds onto calcium so it only the mag you need in mid to late flower as sometimes adding a lot of calmag can cause a toxicity of calcium....bla bla bla lol

Don't worry about run off and if your plants are looking cool Carrie on just be car full you don't over do it

Less is more fosho!!!!
