So indoors isn't an option for me atm, is it at all possible to root clones outdoors and have them adjust to the light schedule by april-ish?

Thanks

sure. just use supplemental lighting over them so they dont flower and make sure its warm enough. you have to do this until june or so depending on where you live before you can be sure they wont start flowering.

it's easy, take a cutting like you would normally then just seal it up in a clear plastic bag, stick it in some indirect light wait a week or so and you'll have roots!

Shit really? What about like C02 and shit wont they die being sealed up in a bag like that? If not that would be ill.

Yeah it's very possible. I've done it before with rapid rooters. It takes forever to get it rooted - between 30-40 days.

with good day temps 70-80F for a good couple weeks, they will root no prob... and rooting clones use and exchange very little gas, so sealing them up is not a bad idea at all, just make sure there are no bugs in the bag!! I've done this with cannabis, tomatoes and various other plants...

also, make sure they are not in direct sun ever while rooting and some condensation will build up in the bag, but thats fine...

With the soil temp warm enough and enough light hours, it should be no problemo. I've done it a couple of times.

Using good soil, root hormones and/or a plastic bag (away from the sun) will give you even more chances.

If i could suggest air layering, it is perhaps the easiest fail safe way.

Scarify a spot on a branch, tie a small root ball around the site, keep moist and in 2 weeks, roots will have grown into the small root ball attached to the branch. Remove the branch and plant. several of these can be applied to the lowest branhces.

Yes you can completely root clones outdoors. Have been doing it in Hawaii for yrs. Put them in the shade though. not direct light.
I only bottom feed, meaning water in the pan from the bottom, dont top feed, make the roots search for water.
Keep the medium moist not wet and you will have roots in no time.
good luck
