HIGH all i have a problem i have two inline blowers one on my light and one for freash air.
The way i wired them i ran 110 to a speed control and then to a receptecal then i pluged inthe blower. I want to put a timer on the line befor the speed control But can't seem to find any thing i can wire in that is silent i had a TORK TIMER for years but you could here the tick all the time so to took it out and now i have to turn then off and on every morning and night.
Can anyone let me know where to look for something i can wire in before the speed control. THANK YOU.
peace.

Yeah, I've used the T101 Intermatics for years. You do need some extremely basic wiring skills.

Check the contact ratings for whatever you use. The specs on that Koyo are:
Relay output: 1 SPDT 220 VAC 2 A (resistive load)

I'm not set up right now but I don't remember T101's ticking, just a snap sound when switched. It runs off a 60Hz motor.

I guess, find a digital timer that will handle an inductive (motor) load. I've seen too many consumer class light timers fail.

Why not remove the speed control, restore constant 110vv supply to the receptacle, plug in a heavy duty timer and control the speed at the fan with one of these

This speedster is also fuse protected

In my opinion those intermatic 100$ timers are over kill
